Wow! Nice character Quzor. I really can'y believe that you created a character whose main abilities are genjutsu, because that was what I was developing my next character's main skills to be. Though mine has some powerful nin and tai as well, the main jutsus were going to be gen. What scares me even more is how similar about two or three of the techniques are. Are you a mind reader Anyway I love your character she's awesome.

I always wanted to create a character who used little besides genjutsu and, since I was having a total mental block when it came to ninjutsu, I figured the best way to say she had other skills without actually having to create any of them would be to make her a gen/taijutsu user. It was fun, and now I've got the genjutsu out of my system. Back to ninjutsu characters I guess...

bio:when ryu was born, his father shamed himself by attacking his clans leader. To this day it is unknown as to why he attacked him. He was defeated quickly and as a result of his actions he was killed. Ryu,s mother was filled with grief and could not cope with raising a child, so she gave ryu to his uncle and aunt who look after him. Soon after she left the village and disapeared. As soon as ryu was old enough he entered the ninja academy, knowing that it was all he wanted to do. Ryu learned about his clan and kekkei genkai from his uncle ubishi. Although he thought about his parents he never felt like he was missing out on anything because his aunt and uncle loved him. Ryu is a naturally talented ninja and excels a nearly what ever he does. Unfortunately because of what his father did the clan see's him as no good and out to make trouble, and don't acknowledge his true abilities. As he is one of the clans smartest and strongest ninja. Ryu strives to become an elite jonin and prove himself to his clan.

kekkei genkai:Ryu's clans kekkei genkai is one of the strongest in his village, and one of the most respected. When a child is born a wolf spirit is place inside of them. This spirit allows them to transform into a wolf, it also gives the the wolf chakra and increases there strength and speed. The chakra is not much but is very useful when they are low. Many of the clans transformation are black and gray but strangly Ryu's is white.

jutsu's

1 Tornado wolf jutsu: can only be used with a large amount of snow. The user does the required hand signs and creates a large snow tornado around the enemy, while inside the tornado wolf claws appear out of snow and slash the enemy.
advantages:does considerable damage to the enemy while also lowers there body temperature considerably.
disadvantages:uses up alot of chakra and a simple fire jutsu will stop it in its tracks.

2 snow storm jutsu: The user does the required seals and builds water based chakra in their chest then they spin at an extremely high speed blowing out water which turns into snow due to the high speed and air pressure.
advantages: makes snow that ryu can use for jutsus
disadvantages: drains alot of chakra and leaves ryu with a low amount of stamina.

3 hands of the forgotten jutsu: hands shoot up out of the snow and grab ryu's enemy's. to hold his enemy in place while ryu attacks, the snow becomes solid and the hands start to freeze his enemy.
advantages: good for one on one, uses low chakra and allows ryu to finish of his enemy usually with ice blade.
disadvantages:needs snow to be performed

4 ice blade jutsu: the user molds chakra in his arm and in his mouth then takes a kunai and shapes chakra around it, the the user blows out water based chakra on to his arm along the kunai to shape a sword.
advantages: the sword is strong due to it being made out of chakra, also works well with hands of the forgotten
diadvantages:uses alot of chakra to keep the sword strong. also ways down ryu's arm

i don't usually come here...but since there is nothing better to do in here i deicided to stop by. and i must compliment you on this character and his jutsus. very unique and i want to know more about what makes him special

That in no way was long at all. Actually from what you said I thought it was going to be a lot longer. What dissapointed me most was that I ran out of story to read That was great!!! I'm totally addicted to Yoshi's story now so you can't quit making them. I really like how you told the current story and did the flashbacks that was awesome. Well here's my new character. Fighting Style: Normal taijutsu
Jutsu:"Black Katana Genjutsu" By swinging his katana in a circle the user hypnotizes his opponent into perceiving everything as slow motion, making so that he cannot keep up with your actual movements. This jutsu only works if the opponent watches the katana. It doesn't take long for the effects to begin.

"White-Out Blizzard" The user summons ice chakra to his chest and blows it at the opponent creating a blizzard. When the opponent gets caught in the blizzard he experiences a white-out and makes him extremely vulnerable to attacks.

"Nightmare Reflection" The user creates a reflective wall of ice that when looked at forces the viewer to experience their worst nightmare. This has to be used extremely carefully for even if the user looks at it he will take on the effects of the jutsu.

"Multi Ice Clone Jutsu" The user creates multiple clones made of ice to aid in battle.

"Ice Weapon Formation" The user uses his chakra to turn snow into weapons made of ice. Some weapons can take a lot of time to form while others take barely any time at all. Some weapons that can be made are shuriken, kunai, swords, and spears.

"Icicle Spear Strike" After having ice clones pin down the opponent, the user forms a giant icicle to spear the opponenet.

"Snow Assassin Jutsu" Using the white shroud he keeps with him the user hides in the snow and waits for the opponent to near then lunges out and stabs the opponent. The major drawback is that if not careful the user can be detected easily.

"Ice Igloo" The user creates a dome of ice around himself to defend against attacks. While inside the dome the user can't see what's happening outside the dome. A powerful fire jutsu can easily melt the dome.

About the Character: Tokiro is an average ninja from the Land of Snow. He entered the ninja academy at 8 and passed all the rankings at average ages. He always trained himself past his limits but never seemed to excel any better than any of the other ninja, but he was content. At least until recently. His family was brutally massacred for no apparent reason. Tokiro has now sworn to avenge to his family at any cost even his life. Tokiro even developed the "Nightmare Reflection" jutsu for the sole purpose of torturing the killers of his family.


Hope you liked it. I didn't plan on this being a dark character until the last minute when I was writing the bio. Well I hope to have another new character by the end of the week, next Monday at the absolute latest.

Insanity, you and Quzor ought to develope some ougi(s) for your chars, and let's say...since we have some time since 385 comes out let's get real specific and say which buttons do what (i.e. triangle for charge up, etc.) Perhaps if we beg enough or ask kindly we can actually get a real game out of this

Well, looks like I'm going to have to dig up my character descriptions and figure out which techniques I'm going to assign....I'm already thinking of wonderfully difficult button combos for my chars' ultimate moves... bwahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Nice* That's what I like to hear...erm see . I've been coming up with button combos as well, now the only problem is that I need to develop the characters who only have like one or two special skills Umikira should be quite easy though...

@ Quzor, sorry for not saying this earlier but your latest Tengai Shinobi is quite wonderful! Fumiko sounds bad ass, and it's nice to have more than a couple powerful kunoichi.

Yep, that's right. ALL my characters, in order of creation, with all updates and additional jutsu included. There are A LOT. Bear with me, but I felt like posting it for people who may not have seen them yet. One of them isn't fully completed, but I don't really care about that anymore.

Village: The Waterfall Village (Takigakure)

Usual attire: Blue chuunin fatigues from the Land of the Waterfall

Abilities/Techniques:
Note: Being from the Waterfall Village, Kazuya is naturally more attuned to water and is more adept at performing water-based jutsus than any other kind. That is not to say he can’t use any others --- it just means that water style jutsus are what he’s best at.

Water Style:
Water Shuriken – Creates a shuriken out of water and hurls it at an enemy. Works best if he is near an open body of water (e.g. a lake or a spring). Otherwise, it takes a lot of chakra for him to conjure it (after all, he’s no 2nd hokage). D-rank, offensive, all ranges.

Multi-Water Shuriken – Sends out more than one water shuriken, but requires exponentially increasing amounts of chakra because he also has to control their flight, making sure they don’t break apart mid-flight. Naturally, this requires a lot of concentration. He’s quite vulnerable to direct attacks while performing this jutsu.

Water Dragon – A long draconic fiend that rises up from a given body of water (best if it’s an unmoving one) and engulfs a single enemy. He is developing a similar technique that is called Great Water Dragon Strike; basically a more powerful version of Water Dragon that can strike multiple foes as well. C-rank, offensive, all ranges.

Water Style: Ice Spears - This technique freezes the water that may lie in the ground and then forces it up in sharp spikes towards the feet of the enemy. At best, this technique throws the enemy off balance or injures them (most shinobi probably wouldn't anticipate a waterfall ninja attacking from underground like that). At worst, it wastes chakra. The chakra consumption for this technique is moderate. C-rank, offensive, all ranges.

Mist Barrier – Another Water style technique, only this is both offensive and defensive. It raises a thick fog/mist that obscures everything. Kind of like Zabuza’s “Hiding Mist Technique” (Kirigakure no jutsu), except he can’t use higher-level jutsus like Zabuza’s Silent Killing Jutsu. However, he can be more or less silent while using a combination of his mist barrier and water shuriken. Because the shuriken are made of water, he can make it so the shuriken doesn’t displace the mist, and can practically melt into the very mist itself. Therefore, no enemy can see the path of the shuriken nor hear it, due to the thickness of the mist. D-rank, supplementary, all ranges.

And no water shinobi is complete without….
Water Clone Jutsu! - Pretty self-explanatory. He can also use a multi-water clone jutsu as well. C-rank, supplementary (one clone). B-rank, supplementary (up to a dozen clones).

Earth Style:
Fissure – Strikes the ground with his fist and an explosion of earth and whatever else is in between him and his enemy/enemies smashes into them. This uses no handsigns, and is probably more of a taijutsu attack than a ninjutsu. It is still considered an Earth style technique, though. B-rank, offensive, short to medium range (0-15 m).

Fire Style:
Note: The polar opposite of Water, Fire style techniques are naturally what Kuzaya is worst at. However, he still has a few up his sleeve, just in case.

Flaming Cherry Blossoms (Hi no Sakura): He conjures flames using a few complicated handsigns to form his chakra into dozens of small, finger-sized to fist-sized balls of fire, which he then launches at an enemy. This is more for distraction then anything --- as they dodge, he can buffer better techniques (usually water jutsus). It’s similar to Sasuke’s Fire Release: Phoenix Immortal Fire Technique, except it would be more like a D-ranked technique, not a C-ranked one. D-rank, offensive, all ranges (Note: the potency of the technique decreases as distance to the target increases.)

Power Techniques:
Great Waterfall - This jutsu is used to fire a massive spiraling blast of water at an opponent. Pretty simple. A-rank, offensive, all ranges (but works best if at least 5 m from target).

Mist Blade – As insubstantial as the mist of which it is formed, that is, until Kazuya moves to cut something. It can also form a larger, flat shield in between him and his enemy/enemies. This provides him a good offense and defense, but maintaining the shield’s strength drains his chakra quickly if he overuses it. A-rank, offensive/defensive, short range (0-2 m).

Water Cutter (Mizukiri) – While traveling in the Land of Lightning, Kazuya learned this technique that enables him to cut through any lightning-based attack. Using some medium, such as is Mist Blade, he can channel electrical forces around him, keeping him from harm. However, such a technique wears heavily on his chakra reserves, and is only meant as a means of last defense. Additionally, if not enough chakra is devoted to channeling the energy that he is trying to redirect, he will feel the full force of whatever attack is being employed against him. Thus, his challenge is to use the necessary amount of chakra without overdoing it (and leaving himself exhausted and vulnerable to another subsequent attack). A-rank, offensive/defensive, short range (0-2 m)

Water Style: Great Ice Prism - This technique encases a foe in a block of solid ice and renders them immobile. This technique traps the hands and feet, making it nearly impossible to escape. The downfall to this technique is that the user must maintain physical contact with the ice block or else the clock will immediately begin to melt, depending on the temperature of the environment. A-rank, supplementary, very short range (0-2m)

He also possesses the basic Academy jutsus. As a side note, he’s most adept at running over water or mud, and it takes little effort for him to do so, since he’s lived in or near water for most of his life. Also, he possesses no S-ranked jutsus. Poor Kazuya, he’s still just a chuunin. T_T

Biography:
He was raised in the Waterfall Village, but he left the village and abandoned his training at age 14 shortly after he found out that Shibuki would become the next leader of the Waterfall Village. He was disgusted by his people and their blind faith in Shibuki, who, in Kazuya’s estimation, didn’t deserve the respect that he received, unlike Shibuki’s father, who was, in Kazuya’s estimation, the greatest ninja ever borne to the village.

However, Kazuya did not really become a rogue ninja, per se. He still maintained loose ties to the Waterfall Village, much in the same way that Tsunade and Jiraiya maintained limited connection to Konoha, even though neither of them lived there. Kazuya traveled to various lands close to home; among them were the Lands of Fire, Grass, Rain, Earth, and Lightning. He learned various techniques during his travels, though they are not all listed here. For instance, he learned Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique while traveling through the Land of Fire. From whom he learned this technique is unknown; it is possible he learned it by observing another perform it.

He returned, just in time to witness Shibuki’s heroism when he faced his former master, now a rogue ninja and after the Hero’s Water. You know how that ends. Either way, Kazuya then decided to live in the village once more, and eventually became a chuunin.

He’s currently training intensely in the Waterfall Village for his goal of eventually attaining jounin status, perhaps even becoming the leader of the land one day, once he can prove himself to the village that he is not going to run off one day if he doesn't like how things are going.

Once part of Root, he maintained no loyalty to Danzo, but rather to the Third Hokage, a rarity at the time. While training in Root, Kai learned many valuable skills, the most notable of which was his medical training, except his medical knowledge and experience were geared towards torture. Root was eventually disbanded, and he was transferred to the ANBU Torture and Interrogation Squad shortly thereafter.

He is second-in-command of the Konoha ANBU Torture and Interrogation Squad, just below Ibiki Morino. Somewhat of a counterpart to Ibiki, who specializes in the complete ability to toture the mind, Kai is able to push a human to both their mental and physical limits, just up to point before they are broken completely. He uses ninjutsu and certain pressure points (often located near the neck and spine) to super-enhance his victim's senses, then uses all manner of devices (such as physical torture combined with genjutsu) to get his subject to talk.

Despite his average height, what is most frightening about him his his voice---it is neither deep nor a voice that is truly meant to intimidate. Instead, it is a very quiet, subdued tone. What is truly frightening about his voice is that it has the impression of having no soul behind it. And combined with his black ANBU mask, he becomes a relentless, unfeeling toturer. His favorite interrogation method is to use a scalpel to slice into his victim, use medical ninjustu to heal the wounds, then start all over again...

Given the nature of his work, Kai is somewhat mentally and emotionally unstable, despite the fact that in Root he was more or less dehumanized during his training, taught to feel absolutely nothing. He doesn't speak much unless he's receiving orders, but even then doesn't speak more than what is absolutely necesary in order to comprehend his superiors.

Many shinobi, even those within the ANBU organization itself, are not even sure that he even exists, for he is swift, wears matte black clothing, and always seems to hug the shadows. Some are convinced that he is no more than a rumor, since it is well known that almost all high-profile interrogations are carried out by Ibiki Morino. Very few people have seen his face, and not many live to tell the tale if they do. In any case, his features are so normal that he could probably walk around the village in broad daylight and never be recognized...

Note: He has all the extensive training of both an ANBU and a medical-nin. The only difference is that his skills are almost all applied to uses for torture. Only a few are listed. Many of them require a lot of chakra to control. Also, he often hides his handsigns using genjutsu so that there is less of a chance of the victim realizes that he is using genjutsu (thus be able to resist his techniques).

Demonic Illusion: False Appearance Technique - This jutsu transforms Kai into whatever person he is trying to imitate. It is most effective when he is either trying to escape notice in public or interrogating multiple members of a shinobi squad at one time by mimicking different members. Demonic Illusion: False Masochism Technique - This jutsu allows Kai to appear as if he were torturing himself. Combined with Demonic Illusion: False Appearance Technique, this can be mentally debilitating to all but the absolute hardest shinobi. B-rank, Supplementary, Short range (0-5m)

Demonic Illusion: Multiple False Surroundings Technique - This jutsu places another illusion on top of a previous illusion created by the user. If and when the target dispels an illusion, they will not realize that another is already in place. This is handy because if the subject manages to find the strength to break through an illusion, they will only find more waiting for them. Demonic Illusion: Vision of Death Technique - This jutsu is much like the Temporary Paralysis Technique, but paralyzes the foe by showing them a vision of their own gruesome death. In addition to the paralysis, the enemy is overwhelmed with fear, and can suffer severe mental stress. S-rank, Supplementary, Short to mid-range (0-10m)


Medical Ninjutsu:
Healing Art: Injury Sealing Technique - This jutsu uses a part of the patient's body (such as their hair) as a medium to heal their wounds. Normally, this takes a lot of time and effort, but Kai has reduced the actual amount of healing to the bare minimum to keep the victim alive for the next round of... fun. He also has a more advanced technique called Healing Art: Body Regeneration Technique (S-rank) that heals the subject's entire body at once. The only difference is that, for some reason, this technique is extrememly painful for the receiver, despite being a healing technique. The reason for this is unknown. Nervous System Enhancement Technique - This jutsu hyper-sensitizes every single nerve in the victim's body, making even an injury as harmless as a papercut feel like a horrific gash. This is Kai's most oft-used technique, and allows him to expend less energy on healing ninjutsu (since he can do "more with less", so to speak). A-rank, Supplementary, Short range (0-5m)

Demonic Tranformation: Stone Sepulchre Technique - This jutsu changes the target's body into a stone-like substance that can be later destroyed with little or no evidence remaining. Biography:

She was once a good friend of Yugito Nii, the former vessel of the Two-Tailed Cat Demon, and was devastated when she died. Since then, she has worked hard to develop her skills as a ninja, as per a promise she had made to Yugito before her death when attempting to extract the demon. She has sworn an oath of vengeance against the Akatsuki, whom she believes responsible for her friend's death.

Personality:

General: She is a workaholic. Or it might be better to say TRAINaholic. She has a habit of training until she drops from exhaution. Her parents do their best to curb this unhealthy behavior, but Nari is on a mission to become the strongest ninja, and perhaps one day Raikage. She is also training to be a kunoichi.

She is also very pretty, and it is not uncommon for her to get a dozen or more love letters a day from various "admirers". She gets spied on quite often, and she often has to make her opinion on the matter clear with a few choice uppercuts and right hooks, all while screaming "Get away from me you PERVERT!!". That usually gets the point across. Despite outward appearances, she can be pretty brusque and even crude. She still manages to beat her sensei in Go more often than not.

Note: As a shinobi from the Land of Lightning, Nari is naturally more attuned and skilled at lightning and wind based elemental jutsu since that is largely what she was trained in. In particular, the Shimizu Clan has its own special set of techniques, all of which largely involve lightning-based jutsu. However, what makes her clan's techniques special is that they are a lot of combined element styles (e.g. lightning and water combined).

Lightning-Style Techniques:
Lightning Rod - (Secret Shimizu Clan technique) Although the name sounds like a bad pun, Lightning Rod is a jutsu that makes a staff out of lightning, and is stronger if supplemented by real lightning. Otherwise, Nari supplies the energy of the rod with her chakra. The advantages of this technique is that it has the power to inflict second- and third-degree electrical burns on the victim in addition to the physical impact of the attack. The disadvantages is that it uses up a lot of chakra, and if this attack doesn't work, the user could be left exhausted and vulnerable. Also, if the user loses concentration over the lightning rod, it could backfire and possibly explode. A-rank, supplemetary, short-range (0-5m).

Shocking Bolt - More or less self-explanatory. It sends out a quick lightning burst that is, well, shocking. It's effective at catching the opponent off-guard because of its incredible speed. However, it can still be dodged or blocked (e.g. with a barrier jutsu or something similar) if the opponent is strong enough. There are a few variations to the technique, one being a kunai included in the bolt to inflict additional damage on the enemy. It has relatively low chakra consumption. D-rank, offensive, all ranges (however power decreases proportionally to the distance).

Combined Style Techniques (Shimizu Clan Secret Techniques):
Earth/Lightning Style: Magnetism: The user sends an electrical charge into any stationary object and can use that object to draw away metal objects, namely cords, shuriken, and kunai knives. However, this charge must be constantly maintained by the user's chakra, since the object that they charge is most likely grounded (thus would almost immediately lose its charge after being released). Another disadvantage is that it is possible (if extremely improbable) that an enemy ninja could still hit the user with shuriken or kunai by calculating a path. It's still very effective at rendering an opponent's projectile weapons useless. B-rank, supplementary, all ranges.
Note: For these kinds of fights, The Shimizu clan uses hardened ceramic shuriken and kunai that are almost as stong as iron or steel.

Lightning/Water Style: Falling Lightning: This technique's name has nothing really to do with the technique itself. After a complicated set of handsigns, the user of this technique (who would be fighting on or near a large body of water) would gather the water into a huge hollow ball and surround themselves in it, then use electricity (supplied by chakra or real lightning) and surround their makeshift shield-sphere with it. Then the user runs at his/her enemy, mostly protected by the shield (think of a huge hamster ball, only deadlier). When they make contact, the enemy is hit with a huge burst of electricity, much more powerfull than it would be if it were a lightning-style attack alone (since water conducts electricity much better than air). In general, the user will make the ball as small as they possibly can and still be able to run inside to increase the power if the impact. It is a powerful technique, but it is hard for the ball to change direction. Also, the sphere is also only as fast as the shinobi can run inside it. It has a medium to high chakra consumption, depending on duration and strength. A-rank, offensive/defensive, effectively short-range (0-5m).

History/Personality:
She lived her whole life in Iwagakure, and has gone on various difficult B- and A-rank missions and trained intensely in her life in order to finally attain the level of jounin, which was her temporary goal in her dream of becoming an Academy sensei. Her life was largely normal, except for the occasional instance of discrimination from the other villagers due to her clan's fearsome reputation. She is said to perhaps be the most capable member of her clan in several generations. Her serious weakness is her poor abilities with taijutsu, which are supposed to be a clan specialty. However, she uses her kekkei genkai as a last line of defense, given that she prefers long-range combat.

Her younger sister, Honoka, is a member of her squad. Honoka is a skilled medical ninja and an excellent genjutsu-user, and takes special care of her big sister when they are out on missions. The two are extremely close and watch each other closely. The other member of her squad, Masaru, is strong-headed and a bit rash, but a capable shinobi and quite skilled in taijutsu. They three make an excellent team because they work as a single cohesive unit, because each is more-or-less specialized. While Honoka attacks with genjutsu (to make the enemies vulnerable), Atsuko attacks with ninjutsu, while Masaru stays near Atsuko and Honoka to watch their backs in case of an enemy flanking movement in a close-range attack situation.

Earth Style techniques (Ninjutsu):
Doton: Doryuudan ("Earth Release: Earth Dragon Missile") - Sends a large body of stone at the opponent, taking on the rough form of a dragon. A powerful attack if it connects, but somewhat slow, inversely proportional to how powerful the attack is. Generally, as the mass of the stone increases, the speed decreases. This attack can also take place from underground, with the dragon coming up from underneath the opponent's feet. The chakra consumption is moderate. B-rank, offensive, all ranges. Hand Seal: Goat, Horse, Dragon, Tiger

Doton: Doryuu Taiga ("Earth Release: Moving Land River") - Turns the ground underneath the enemies' feet to mud and quicksand, allowing Atsuko to either suck them underground (hopefully killing them through asphyxiation), or to carry them father away from her as she prepares another technique (most likely another long-range ninjutsu) while the enemy is temporarily hindered or immobilized. Doton: Doryuheki ("Earth Release: Great Earthen Wall") - Summons a huge wall of mud and stone and puts it between Atsuko and her enemy, or she can ride on the various ledges to the top, either way putting lots of distance between her and her enemies. She can also break off various parts of the wall of enemies trying to pursue her to injure or slow them down. However, it is not intended to be an offensive technique, and the integrity of the wall is compromised when Atsuko does this. This is easily an A-rank technique, but she is able to use it due to her unusually large stores of chakra. A-rank, defensive, short-medium range (0-15m). Tsuchi Bunshin no Jutsu ("Rock Clone Technique") - Forms clones out of stone, which are much like any other type of clone technique (e.g. shadow/water/mist clones), except that rock clones are a bit more durable than other types of clones because they are made of stone, thus are harder. However, they require slightly more chakra. Depending on how many are made (Atsuko can handle making up a dozen at a time), the chakra comsumption is low to moderate. E-rank, supplementary, all ranges. Hand Signs: Rat (held until clones are fully formed)

Genjutsu (Illusionary Techniques):
Magen: Jubaku Satsu ("Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death") - More or less a copy of Kurenai's technique, except perhaps less refined since Atsuko is not a genjutsu-type shinobi. A tree appears behind the target and branches will bind the target rendering the enemy unable to move. Then Atsuko appears from the trunk of the tree and stabs her opponent with a kunai. She also uses an earth-style serion of this, and it is essentially the same. A large rock structure appears instead of a tree, and rinds of rock form around the targets limbs and torso. It is called Demonic Illusion: Stone Binding Death. B-rank, Supplementary/offensive, short range (0-5m). Hand Signs: Dog, Snake, Monkey, Ox, Tiger

About the Yamaguchi Clan's Kekkei Genkai, Stone Blood:
The Stone Blood kekkei genkai exists within the Yamaguchi clan and is used by its members both as a defensive and offensive technique. When chakra is concentrated in a certain part of the body and is manipulated in such a way that the kekkei genkai takes effect, that area can become as hard as diamond. It doesn't turn into stone my any means, but rather takes on similar properties. This is a somewhat risky technique, for the user loses some small amount of flexibility the harder they make themselves. Also, if they don't make themselves hard enough, there exists the possibility that their enemies could shatter their bodies with a well-placed strong blow. Lastly, unlike most kekkei genkai, this takes quite a bit of chakra to sustain, and so many of the members of the Yamaguchi clan have large amounts of chakra to compensate (large chakra reserves are commonplace in the Yamaguchi clan but not universal). However, these weaknesses are not enough to hinder them much while crushing enemies, since their strength also increases directly with their hardness. It is not unheard of for entire cliffsides to be destroyed when the Yamaguchi clan members are training. Specifically for Atsuko, her large reserves of chakra are considered to be a great asset as she can, in theory, sustain the kekkei genkai for much longer periods of time than can other members of her clan.

She is somewhat skilled in taijutsu, but often relies upon genjutsu as a distraction so she can get in close and use her kekkei genkai to its full effect (in one-on-one battles). Whilst fighting in bigger battles alongside her squad, she lies in wait until her squad needs her.

History/Personality:
Small in stature but big in heart, Honoka has lived happily along with her sister and parents in Iwagakure for a long time, and has only rarely been out of the village, except on missions. She struggled in the chuunin exam's finals, but was able to impress the examiners enough with her cunning tactics in sync with her skill in genjutsu to become a chuunin. She greatly looks up to her sister, and holds her very dear. She always thinks of her during missions, and many of her decisions are geared toward her elder sister's safety. Their third squad member, Masaru, does his best to remind her that they are in fact, shinobi, and that they risk their lives daily. She is working on her emotions, and doing her best to make sure that they don't affect their missions' outcome.

Despite her apparent naivete (since she has few life experiences in the real world) she is well educated both in politics and psychology, and is training not only to be a medical ninja, but also a spy kunoichi. Her workload is high, and she is often stressed out, she relaxes by taking bathes and reading romance novels. She also spends a lot of time with her older sister and the two are often seen training together, as well.

As well as being a skilled genjutsu user, Honoka is the squad's medical-nin. She stays close to the other two in combat situations, because her taijutsu, while very strong combined with her kekkei genkai, is still not on-par with Masaru's. She also is not very skilled in ninjutsu, but she is still training, like all shinobi. Despite the fact that most of the time Atsuko is the team leader, Honoka occasionally handles the tactical decisions for the team, especially if a plan fails mid-mission and must be reformed in the midst of battle. In that case, both Masaru and Atsuko would be fighting, while Honoka lies in wait, undercover. After all, she is the medical-nin, and although it kills her every time to leave her sister alone, she is still a shinobi, and has been trained well.

Currently she is undergoing intense physical training training with her father for taijutsu training. As a medical ninja, she needs to learn to defend herself, her father says, and he is showing her proper technique as well as the secrets of the Yamaguchi Clan's kekkei genkai, Stone Blood. She currently hates her training. A lot.

Genjutsu (Illusionary Techniques):
Though I wont list them all her genjutsu in detail (that would be impossible), I will say that Honoka knows plenty of genjutsu combos to stop almost anyone from finding her if she wishes to remain hidden. Some of you may notice her jutsus are much like Kai's, but hers are more geared toward's combat, rather than interrogation.

Medical Ninjutsu:
Though she may only be a chuunin, she has studied and anatomy down to the last muscle and nerve ending, and knows intimately the in-and-outs of poisons.

Healing Arts: Flesh Melding Jutsu - This is Honoka's highest level medical jutsu that she reserves for only the most extreme situations; ones where the patient is on the verge of death and would surely die without immediate medical attention. This jutsu consumes Honoka's chakra and transforms it into a mimicry of the target's flesh and/or blood and then binds it to them in order to enact almost instantaneous healing. However, the processing of chakra requires Honoka to know intimately the physical makeup of her patient, and the actual chakra transformation is not fast, meaning she must act quickly and decisively in such a situation to save her patient. The chakra consumption for this technique is very high, and so is largely forbidden due to the risk to the user. For the record, this is her only S-rank jutsu. Most of her jutsus are lower rank, but this is her ace-in-the-hole if she ever needs it.

More About the Yamaguchi Clan's Kekkei Genkai, Stone Blood:
Due to the kekkei genkai's properties of hardening the user's body, this technique can also be used to block projectiles, extremely helpful in the event that an enemy's weapons may be poisoned. Since the skin of the activated kekkei genkai's user would be so hard, it would be extremely difficult to pierce with most types of slashing or stabbing weapons (such an attack would take a ridiculous amount of force, like Tsunade's insane strength, at which point poison would become a moot issue). Also, another problem with using the kekkei genkai for long periods of time is that if the user tries to use Stone Blood for too long, their tenketsu might actually run the risk of freezing up and inflicting damage to their chakra network, causing severe injury. However, each person's limit is different, and it largely depends on whether or not the person is trying to force their kekkei genkai while having low chakra.

History/Personality:
Though is is somewhat tactless and downright brusque at times, he has a good heart and cares deeply for his friends, and especially family. His family is a well-respected group of taijutsu users from Iwagakure, the Dazai Clan. Due to internal conflict within the family over position and traditions. For the most part, these disputes were not violent, but the disputes nonetheless caused many individuals and side-branches to leave the clan. The numbers of the Dazai Clan have declined dramatically in recent years, and Masaru's immediate family is one of the few remaining families that has stayed true to tradition and training.

Because he has lost contact with many of his family members, such as cousins, aunts, and uncles, Masaru's remaining family is of utmost importance to him, and he hopes to one day be able to reunite the lost memberes and bring them back into the fold. However, old resentments run deep and he is not yet old enough to have much influence in his clan. As such, he trains intensely in the hopes that as he gains more status and recognition as an elite shinobi, his resulting success will make him an example of the superiority of the main-branch's training and power.

Masaru can be impetuous at times, and overeager to get into a fight, but he never gives up on a goal he's set himself to and he is always there to lend a helping hand to his friends. He personally, before her father took over her training, helped improve his squadmate Honoka's taijutsu. Even though his skill in genjutsu is questionable, his is an expert in the physical martial arts and is exceptionally quick on his feet, as he trains daily with weighted clothing weighing as much as 20 kilos on especially challenging days. He does not wear any weighted clothing during missions, however. He attempted to do this on his first mission as a chuunin, and when a battle broke out he was forced to strip off his weighted clothing and almost got himself and his new squad killed for it. He gained that scar across his cheek for his mistake, and afterwards requested a transfer back to his old squad with Atsuko and Honoka. It was this early failure that was one of the reasons he has not yet become a jounin, and was a small setback to his plans for the reincorporation of the Dazai Clan.

Taijutsu Style: Legendary Strike
This taijutsu relies largely on its devastating kicks to deal damage to its enemies. In addition to power, speed is pushed to its absolute human limits, and a few of the Dazai Clan can even open the inner gates. Through his continuous and difficult training, Masaru can go as far as the Fourth Gate, the Gate of Pain (傷門 Shoumon). His father can open up to the Fifth Gate, the Gate of Closing (杜門 Tomon), which is essential for the true potential of Legendary Strike to unfold, because the Fifth Gate unleashes the awesome raw power and speed, allowing the attacker to rain down blows too quickly for their opponent to block, and the finishing kicks will put the opponent down for good. The Dazai Clan's signature finishing move is called "Leaping Storm Dragon Harmony" and consists of a flying kick that appears to be a single powerful strike, but in reality is dozens of kicks that are executed so fast as to be seen as only one. Masaru is still far from mastering this ultimate technique, but when he does, he will be able to cover a large distance at an astonishing speed to deliver his final devastating attack. As with all taijutsu moves that rely upon the Inner Gates, Masaru risks massive damage to his own body in using this technique. Masaru also is creating his own version of this technique's ultimate move, which he calls "Thousand Cuts Harmonic Symphony", which is an attack with his katana that seems to be one cut but in fact is many cuts. So far he is up to 14 strikes, but only when he is at the Fourth Gate. He is improving himself so he can execute this move without relying upon the gates (which are often a double-edged sword), but it may be a long time in coming.

Water Style:
Water Shuriken – Creates a shuriken out of water and hurls it at an enemy. Works best if he is near an open body of water (e.g. a lake or a spring). Otherwise, it takes a lot of chakra for him to conjure it (after all, he’s no 2nd hokage). D-rank, offensive, all ranges.

Multi-Water Shuriken – Sends out more than one water shuriken, but requires exponentially increasing amounts of chakra because he also has to control their flight, making sure they don’t break apart mid-flight. Naturally, this requires a lot of concentration. He’s quite vulnerable to direct attacks while performing this jutsu.

Water Dragon – A long draconic fiend that rises up from a given body of water (best if it’s an unmoving one) and engulfs a single enemy. He is developing a similar technique that is called Great Water Dragon Strike; basically a more powerful version of Water Dragon that can strike multiple foes as well. C-rank, offensive, all ranges.

Water Style: Ice Spears - This technique freezes the water that may lie in the ground and then forces it up in sharp spikes towards the feet of the enemy. At best, this technique throws the enemy off balance or injures them (most shinobi probably wouldn't anticipate a waterfall ninja attacking from underground like that). At worst, it wastes chakra. The chakra consumption for this technique is moderate. C-rank, offensive, all ranges.

Mist Barrier – Another Water style technique, only this is both offensive and defensive. It raises a thick fog/mist that obscures everything. Kind of like Zabuza’s “Hiding Mist Technique” (Kirigakure no jutsu), except he can’t use higher-level jutsus like Zabuza’s Silent Killing Jutsu. However, he can be more or less silent while using a combination of his mist barrier and water shuriken. Because the shuriken are made of water, he can make it so the shuriken doesn’t displace the mist, and can practically melt into the very mist itself. Therefore, no enemy can see the path of the shuriken nor hear it, due to the thickness of the mist. D-rank, supplementary, all ranges.

And no water shinobi is complete without….
Water Clone Jutsu! - Pretty self-explanatory. He can also use a multi-water clone jutsu as well. C-rank, supplementary (one clone). B-rank, supplementary (up to a dozen clones).

Earth Style:
Fissure – Strikes the ground with his fist and an explosion of earth and whatever else is in between him and his enemy/enemies smashes into them. This uses no handsigns, and is probably more of a taijutsu attack than a ninjutsu. It is still considered an Earth style technique, though. B-rank, offensive, short to medium range (0-15 m).

Fire Style:
Note: The polar opposite of Water, Fire style techniques are naturally what Kuzaya is worst at. However, he still has a few up his sleeve, just in case.

Flaming Cherry Blossoms (Hi no Sakura): He conjures flames using a few complicated handsigns to form his chakra into dozens of small, finger-sized to fist-sized balls of fire, which he then launches at an enemy. This is more for distraction then anything --- as they dodge, he can buffer better techniques (usually water jutsus). It’s similar to Sasuke’s Fire Release: Phoenix Immortal Fire Technique, except it would be more like a D-ranked technique, not a C-ranked one. D-rank, offensive, all ranges (Note: the potency of the technique decreases as distance to the target increases.)

Power Techniques:
Great Waterfall - This jutsu is used to fire a massive spiraling blast of water at an opponent. Pretty simple. A-rank, offensive, all ranges (but works best if at least 5 m from target).

Mist Blade – As insubstantial as the mist of which it is formed, that is, until Kazuya moves to cut something. It can also form a larger, flat shield in between him and his enemy/enemies. This provides him a good offense and defense, but maintaining the shield’s strength drains his chakra quickly if he overuses it. A-rank, offensive/defensive, short range (0-2 m).

Water Cutter (Mizukiri) – While traveling in the Land of Lightning, Kazuya learned this technique that enables him to cut through any lightning-based attack. Using some medium, such as is Mist Blade, he can channel electrical forces around him, keeping him from harm. However, such a technique wears heavily on his chakra reserves, and is only meant as a means of last defense. Additionally, if not enough chakra is devoted to channeling the energy that he is trying to redirect, he will feel the full force of whatever attack is being employed against him. Thus, his challenge is to use the necessary amount of chakra without overdoing it (and leaving himself exhausted and vulnerable to another subsequent attack). A-rank, offensive/defensive, short range (0-2 m)

Water Style: Great Ice Prism - This technique encases a foe in a block of solid ice and renders them immobile. This technique traps the hands and feet, making it nearly impossible to escape. The downfall to this technique is that the user must maintain physical contact with the ice block or else the clock will immediately begin to melt, depending on the temperature of the environment. A-rank, supplementary, very short range (0-2m)

He also possesses the basic Academy jutsus. As a side note, he’s most adept at running over water or mud, and it takes little effort for him to do so, since he’s lived in or near water for most of his life. Also, he possesses no S-ranked jutsus. Poor Kazuya, he’s still just a chuunin. T_T

Biography:
He was raised in the Waterfall Village, but he left the village and abandoned his training at age 14 shortly after he found out that Shibuki would become the next leader of the Waterfall Village. He was disgusted by his people and their blind faith in Shibuki, who, in Kazuya’s estimation, didn’t deserve the respect that he received, unlike Shibuki’s father, who was, in Kazuya’s estimation, the greatest ninja ever borne to the village.

However, Kazuya did not really become a rogue ninja, per se. He still maintained loose ties to the Waterfall Village, much in the same way that Tsunade and Jiraiya maintained limited connection to Konoha, even though neither of them lived there. Kazuya traveled to various lands close to home; among them were the Lands of Fire, Grass, Rain, Earth, and Lightning. He learned various techniques during his travels, though they are not all listed here. For instance, he learned Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique while traveling through the Land of Fire. From whom he learned this technique is unknown; it is possible he learned it by observing another perform it.

He returned, just in time to witness Shibuki’s heroism when he faced his former master, now a rogue ninja and after the Hero’s Water. You know how that ends. Either way, Kazuya then decided to live in the village once more, and eventually became a chuunin.

He’s currently training intensely in the Waterfall Village for his goal of eventually attaining jounin status, perhaps even becoming the leader of the land one day, once he can prove himself to the village that he is not going to run off one day if he doesn't like how things are going.

Once part of Root, he maintained no loyalty to Danzo, but rather to the Third Hokage, a rarity at the time. While training in Root, Kai learned many valuable skills, the most notable of which was his medical training, except his medical knowledge and experience were geared towards torture. Root was eventually disbanded, and he was transferred to the ANBU Torture and Interrogation Squad shortly thereafter.

He is second-in-command of the Konoha ANBU Torture and Interrogation Squad, just below Ibiki Morino. Somewhat of a counterpart Ibiki, who specializes in the complete ability to toture the mind, Kai is able to push a human to both their mental and physical limits, just up to point before they are broken completely. He uses ninjutsu and certain pressure points (often located near the neck and spine) to super-enhance his victim's senses, then uses all manner of devices (such as physical torture combined with genjutsu) to get his subject to talk.

Despite his average height, what is most frightening about him his his voice---it is neither deep nor a voice that is truly meant to intimidate. Instead, it is a very quiet, subdued tone. What is truly frightening about his voice is that it has the impression of having no soul behind it. And combined with his black ANBU mask, he becomes a relentless, unfeeling toturer. His favorite interrogation method is to use a scalpel to slice into his victim, use medical ninjustu to heal the wounds, then start all over again...

Given the nature of his work, Kai is somewhat mentally and emotionally unstable, despite the fact that in Root he was more or less dehumanized during his training, taught to feel absolutely nothing. He doesn't speak much unless he's receiving orders, but even then doesn't speak more than what is absolutely necesary in order to comprehend his superiors.

Many shinobi, even those within the ANBU organization itself, are not even sure that he even exists, for he is swift, wears matte black clothing, and always seems to hug the shadows. Some are convinced that he is no more than a rumor, since it is well known that almost all high-profile interrogations are carried out by Ibiki Morino. Very few people have seen his face, and not many live to tell the tale if they do. In any case, his features are so normal that he could probably walk around the village in broad daylight and never be recognized...

Abilities/Techniques:
Note: He has all the extensive training of both an ANBU and a medical-nin. The only difference is that his skills are almost all applied to uses for torture. Only a few are listed. Many of them require a lot of chakra to control. Also, he often hides his handsigns using genjutsu so that there is less of a chance of the victim realizes that he is using genjutsu (thus be able to resist his techniques).

Demonic Illusion: False Surroundings Technique - This jutsu changes the appearance of a nearby object or area. It is very handy for interrogations. C-rank, Supplementary, All ranges

Demonic Illusion: False Appearance Technique - This jutsu transforms Kai into whatever person he is trying to imitate. It is most effective when he is either trying to escape notice in public or interrogating multiple members of a shinobi squad at one time by mimicking different members. This can be used on himself or others, much like Demonic Illusion: False Surroundings Technique. C-rank, Supplementary, Short to mid-range (0-10m)

Demonic Illusion: False Masochism Technique - This jutsu allows Kai to appear as if he were torturing himself. Combined with Demonic Illusion: False Appearance Technique, this can be mentally debilitating to all but the absolute hardest shinobi. B-rank, Supplementary, Short range (0-5m)

Demonic Illusion: Multiple False Surroundings Technique - This jutsu places another illusion on top of a previous illusion created by the user. If and when the target dispels an illusion, they will not realize that another is already in place. This is handy because if the subject manages to find the strength to break through an illusion, they will only find more waiting for them. He also has developed a counterpart, Demonic Illusion: Multiple False Appearances Technique. Both are A-rank, Supplementary, All ranges

Demonic Illusion: Vision of Death Technique - This jutsu is much like the Temporary Paralysis Technique, but paralyzes the foe by showing them a vision of their own gruesome death. In addition to the paralysis, the enemy is overwhelmed with fear, and can suffer severe mental stress. S-rank, Supplementary, Short to mid-range (0-10m)


Medical Ninjutsu:
Healing Art: Injury Sealing Technique - This jutsu uses a part of the patient's body (such as their hair) as a medium to heal their wounds. Normally, this takes a lot of time and effort, but Kai has reduced the actual amount of healing to the bare minimum to keep the victim alive for the next round of... fun. He also has a more advanced technique called Healing Art: Body Regeneration Technique (S-rank) that heals the subject's entire body at once. The only difference is that, for some reason, this technique is extrememly painful for the receiver, despite being a healing technique. The reason for this is unknown. Nervous System Enhancement Technique - This jutsu hyper-sensitizes every single nerve in the victim's body, making even an injury as harmless as a papercut feel like a horrific gash. This is Kai's most oft-used technique, and allows him to expend less energy on healing ninjutsu (since he can do "more with less", so to speak). A-rank, Supplementary, Short range (0-5m)

Demonic Tranformation: Stone Sepulchre Technique - This jutsu changes the target's body into a stone-like substance that can be later destroyed with little or no evidence remaining. Biography:

She was once a good friend of Yugito Nii, the former vessel of the Two-Tailed Cat Demon, and was devastated when she died. Since then, she has worked hard to develop her skills as a ninja, as per a promise she had made to Yugito before her death when attempting to extract the demon. She has sworn an oath of vengeance against the Akatsuki, whom she believes responsible for her friend's death.

Personality:

General: She is a workaholic. Or it might be better to say TRAINaholic. She has a habit of training until she drops from exhaution. Her parents do their best to curb this unhealthy behavior, but Nari is on a mission to become the strongest ninja, and perhaps one day Raikage. She is also training to be a kunoichi.

She is also very pretty, and it is not uncommon for her to get a dozen or more love letters a day from various "admirers". She gets spied on quite often, and she often has to make her opinion on the matter clear with a few choice uppercuts and right hooks, all while screaming "Get away from me you PERVERT!!". That usually gets the point across. Despite outward appearances, she can be pretty brusque and even crude. She still manages to beat her sensei in Go more often than not.

Note: As a shinobi from the Land of Lightning, Nari is naturally more attuned and skilled at lightning and wind based elemental jutsu since that is largely what she was trained in. In particular, the Shimizu Clan has its own special set of techniques, all of which largely involve lightning-based jutsu. However, what makes her clan's techniques special is that they are a lot of combined element styles (e.g. lightning and water combined).

Lightning-Style Techniques:
Lightning Rod - (Secret Shimizu Clan technique) Although the name sounds like a bad pun, Lightning Rod is a jutsu that makes a staff out of lightning, and is stronger if supplemented by real lightning. Otherwise, Nari supplies the energy of the rod with her chakra. The advantages of this technique is that it has the power to inflict second- and third-degree electrical burns on the victim in addition to the physical impact of the attack. The disadvantages is that it uses up a lot of chakra, and if this attack doesn't work, the user could be left exhausted and vulnerable. Also, if the user loses concentration over the lightning rod, it could backfire and possibly explode. A-rank, supplemetary, short-range (0-5m).

Shocking Bolt - More or less self-explanatory. It sends out a quick lightning burst that is, well, shocking. It's effective at catching the opponent off-guard because of its incredible speed. However, it can still be dodged or blocked (e.g. with a barrier jutsu or something similar) if the opponent is strong enough. There are a few variations to the technique, one being a kunai included in the bolt to inflict additional damage on the enemy. It has relatively low chakra consumption. D-rank, offensive, all ranges (however power decreases proportionally to the distance).

Combined Style Techniques (Shimizu Clan Secret Techniques):
Earth/Lightning Style: Magnetism: The user sends an electrical charge into any stationary object and can use that object to draw away metal objects, namely cords, shuriken, and kunai knives. However, this charge must be constantly maintained by the user's chakra, since the object that they charge is most likely grounded (thus would almost immediately lose its charge after being released). Another disadvantage is that it is possible (if extremely improbable) that an enemy ninja could still hit the user with shuriken or kunai by calculating a path. It's still very effective at rendering an opponent's projectile weapons useless. B-rank, supplementary, all ranges.
Note: For these kinds of fights, The Shimizu clan uses hardened ceramic shuriken and kunai that are almost as stong as iron or steel.

Lightning/Water Style: Falling Lightning: This technique's name has nothing really to do with the technique itself. After a complicated set of handsigns, the user of this technique (who would be fighting on or near a large body of water) would gather the water into a huge hollow ball and surround themselves in it, then use electricity (supplied by chakra or real lightning) and surround their makeshift shield-sphere with it. Then the user runs at his/her enemy, mostly protected by the shield (think of a huge hamster ball, only deadlier). When they make contact, the enemy is hit with a huge burst of electricity, much more powerfull than it would be if it were a lightning-style attack alone (since water conducts electricity much better than air). In general, the user will make the ball as small as they possibly can and still be able to run inside to increase the power if the impact. It is a powerful technique, but it is hard for the ball to change direction. Also, the sphere is also only as fast as the shinobi can run inside it. It has a medium to high chakra consumption, depending on duration and strength. A-rank, offensive/defensive, effectively short-range (0-5m).

History/Personality:
She lived her whole life in Iwagakure, and has gone on various difficult B- and A-rank missions and trained intensely in her life in order to finally attain the level of jounin, which was her temporary goal in her dream of becoming an Academy sensei. Her life was largely normal, except for the occasional instance of discrimination from the other villagers due to her clan's fearsome reputation. She is said to perhaps be the most capable member of her clan in several generations. Her serious weakness is her poor abilities with taijutsu, which are supposed to be a clan specialty. However, she uses her kekkei genkai as a last line of defense, given that she prefers long-range combat.

Her younger sister, Honoka, is a member of her squad. Honoka is a skilled medical ninja and an excellent genjutsu-user, and takes special care of her big sister when they are out on missions. The two are extremely close and watch each other closely. The other member of her squad, Masaru, is strong-headed and a bit rash, but a capable shinobi and quite skilled in taijutsu. They three make an excellent team because they work as a single cohesive unit, because each is more-or-less specialized. While Honoka attacks with genjutsu (to make the enemies vulnerable), Atsuko attacks with ninjutsu, while Masaru stays near Atsuko and Honoka to watch their backs in case of an enemy flanking movement in a close-range attack situation.

Earth Style techniques (Ninjutsu):
Doton: Doryuudan ("Earth Release: Earth Dragon Missile") - Sends a large body of stone at the opponent, taking on the rough form of a dragon. A powerful attack if it connects, but somewhat slow, inversely proportional to how powerful the attack is. Generally, as the mass of the stone increases, the speed decreases. This attack can also take place from underground, with the dragon coming up from underneath the opponent's feet. The chakra consumption is moderate. B-rank, offensive, all ranges. Hand Seal: Goat, Horse, Dragon, Tiger

Doton: Doryuu Taiga ("Earth Release: Moving Land River") - Turns the ground underneath the enemies' feet to mud and quicksand, allowing Atsuko to either suck them underground (hopefully killing them through asphyxiation), or to carry them father away from her as she prepares another technique (most likely another long-range ninjutsu) while the enemy is temporarily hindered or immobilized. This can cover a large area, but would require a great deal more chakra. C- to A-rank (depending on area of effect), supplementary, all ranges. Hand Signs: Tiger (held until jutsu is complete)

Doton: Doryuheki ("Earth Release: Great Earthen Wall") - Summons a huge wall of mud and stone and puts it between Atsuko and her enemy, or she can ride on the various ledges to the top, either way putting lots of distance between her and her enemies. She can also break off various parts of the wall of enemies trying to pursue her to injure or slow them down. However, it is not intended to be an offensive technique, and the integrity of the wall is compromised when Atsuko does this. This is easily an A-rank technique, but she is able to use it due to her unusually large stores of chakra. A-rank, defensive, short-medium range (0-15m). Hand Signs: Goat (held until jutsu is complete)

Tsuchi Bunshin no Jutsu ("Rock Clone Technique") - Forms clones out of stone, which are much like any other type of clone technique (e.g. shadow/water/mist clones), except that rock clones are a bit more durable than other types of clones because they are made of stone, thus are harder. However, they require slightly more chakra. Depending on how many are made (Atsuko can handle making up a dozen at a time), the chakra comsumption is low to moderate. E-rank, supplementary, all ranges. Hand Signs: Rat (held until clones are fully formed)

Doton: Ryusa Bakuryu ("Earth Release: Quicksand Waterfall") - This attack takes a large amount of earth and pounds the enemy from above with sand, rock, and mud. Chakra consumption is low to moderate. B-rank, offensive, all ranges. Hand Signs: Dog, Monkey, Pig, Snake, Goat

She also uses an earth-style serion of this, and it is essentially the same. A large rock structure appears instead of a tree, and rinds of rock form around the targets limbs and torso. About the Yamaguchi Clan's Kekkei Genkai, Stone Blood:
The Stone Blood kekkei genkai exists within the Yamaguchi clan and is used by its members both as a defensive and offensive technique. When chakra is concentrated in a certain part of the body and is manipulated in such a way that the kekkei genkai takes effect, that area can become as hard as diamond. It doesn't turn into stone my any means, but rather takes on similar properties. This is a somewhat risky technique, for the user loses some small amount of flexibility the harder they make themselves. Also, if they don't make themselves hard enough, there exists the possibility that their enemies could shatter their bodies with a well-placed strong blow. Lastly, unlike most kekkei genkai, this takes quite a bit of chakra to sustain, and so many of the members of the Yamaguchi clan have large amounts of chakra to compensate (large chakra reserves are commonplace in the Yamaguchi clan but not universal). However, these weaknesses are not enough to hinder them much while crushing enemies, since their strength also increases directly with their hardness. It is not unheard of for entire cliffsides to be destroyed when the Yamaguchi clan members are training. Specifically for Atsuko, her large reserves of chakra are considered to be a great asset as she can, in theory, sustain the kekkei genkai for much longer periods of time than can other members of her clan.

History/Personality:
Small in stature but big in heart, Honoka has lived happily along with her sister and parents in Iwagakure for a long time, and has only rarely been out of the village, except on missions. She struggled in the chuunin exam's finals, but was able to impress the examiners enough with her cunning tactics in sync with her skill in genjutsu to become a chuunin. She greatly looks up to her sister, and holds her very dear. She always thinks of her during missions, and many of her decisions are geared toward her elder sister's safety. Their third squad member, Masaru, does his best to remind her that they are in fact, shinobi, and that they risk their lives daily. She is working on her emotions, and doing her best to make sure that they don't affect their missions' outcome.

Despite her apparent naivete (since she has few life experiences in the real world) she is well educated both in politics and psychology, and is training not only to be a medical ninja, but also a spy kunoichi. Her workload is high, and she is often stressed out, she relaxes by taking bathes and reading romance novels. She also spends a lot of time with her older sister and the two are often seen training together, as well.

As well as being a skilled genjutsu user, Honoka is the squad's medical-nin. She stays close to the other two in combat situations, because her taijutsu, while very strong combined with her kekkei genkai, is still not on-par with Masaru's. She also is not very skilled in ninjutsu, but she is still training, like all shinobi. Despite the fact that most of the time Atsuko is the team leader, Honoka occasionally handles the tactical decisions for the team, especially if a plan fails mid-mission and must be reformed in the midst of battle. In that case, both Masaru and Atsuko would be fighting, while Honoka lies in wait, undercover. After all, she is the medical-nin, and although it kills her every time to leave her sister alone, she is still a shinobi, and has been trained well.

Currently she is undergoing intense physical training training with her father for taijutsu training. As a medical ninja, she needs to learn to defend herself, her father says, and he is showing her proper technique as well as the secrets of the Yamaguchi Clan's kekkei genkai, Stone Blood. She currently hates her training. A lot.

Genjutsu (Illusionary Techniques):
Though I wont list them all her genjutsu in detail (that would be impossible), I will say that Honoka knows plenty of genjutsu combos to stop almost anyone from finding her if she wishes to remain hidden. Some of you may notice her jutsus are much like Kai's, but hers are more geared toward's combat, rather than interrogation.

Demonic Illusion: False Surroundings Technique - This jutsu changes the appearance of a nearby object or area. Honoka uses this jutsu very often during missions to hider her true location. She does this by only changing the part of the environment where is is hiding (so a very small area) C-rank, Supplementary, All ranges

Demonic Illusion: False Appearance Technique - This jutsu transforms Honoka into whatever person she is trying to imitate. It is most effective when she is either trying to escape members of an enemy shinobi squad at one time by mimicking different members. This can be used on herself or others, much like Demonic Illusion: False Surroundings Technique. C-rank, Supplementary, All ranges

Demonic Illusion: Multiple False Surroundings Technique - This jutsu places another illusion on top of a previous illusion created by the user. If and when the target dispels an illusion, they will not realize that another is already in place. This is handy because if the subjects manage to find the strength to break through an illusion, they will only find more waiting for them. This serves to add an extra layer of protection to her defense and although a skilled shinobi would eventually be able to break it, it would not be without considerable effort. She also has a counterpart, Demonic Illusion: Multiple False Appearances Technique, which she can use to set multiple layers of genjutsu illusions on top of one another while impersonating an enemy shinobi. Medical Ninjutsu:
Though she may only be a chuunin, she has studied and anatomy down to the last muscle and nerve ending, and knows intimately the in-and-outs of poisons.

Healing Arts: Flesh Melding Jutsu - This is Honoka's highest level medical jutsu that she reserves for only the most extreme situations; ones where the patient is on the verge of death and would surely die without immediate medical attention. This jutsu consumes Honoka's chakra and transforms it into a mimicry of the target's flesh and/or blood and then binds it to them in order to enact almost instantaneous healing. However, the processing of chakra requires Honoka to know intimately the physical makeup of her patient, and the actual chakra transformation is not fast, meaning she must act quickly and decisively in such a situation to save her patient. The chakra consumption for this technique is very high, and so is largely forbidden due to the risk to the user. However, because of the Yamaguchi Clan's reknown for large chakra reserves, she was allowed to learn this technique by her sensei. S-rank, Supplementary, very short range (0-1m)

For the record, this is her only S-rank jutsu. Most of her jutsus are lower rank, but this is her ace-in-the-hole if she ever needs it.

More About the Yamaguchi Clan's Kekkei Genkai, Stone Blood:
Due to the kekkei genkai's properties of hardening the user's body, this technique can also be used to block projectiles, extremely helpful in the event that an enemy's weapons may be poisoned. Since the skin of the activated kekkei genkai's user would be so hard, it would be extremely difficult to pierce with most types of slashing or stabbing weapons (such an attack would take a ridiculous amount of force, like Tsunade's insane strength, at which point poison would become a moot issue). Also, another problem with using the kekkei genkai for long periods of time is that if the user tries to use Stone Blood for too long, their tenketsu might actually run the risk of freezing up and inflicting damage to their chakra network, causing severe injury. However, each person's limit is different, and it largely depends on whether or not the person is trying to force their kekkei genkai while having low chakra.

History/Personality:
Though is is somewhat tactless and downright brusque at times, he has a good heart and cares deeply for his friends, and especially family. His family is a well-respected group of taijutsu users from Iwagakure, the Dazai Clan. Due to internal conflict within the family over position and traditions. For the most part, these disputes were not violent, but the disputes nonetheless caused many individuals and side-branches to leave the clan. The numbers of the Dazai Clan have declined dramatically in recent years, and Masaru's immediate family is one of the few remaining families that has stayed true to tradition and training.

Because he has lost contact with many of his family members, such as cousins, aunts, and uncles, Masaru's remaining family is of utmost importance to him, and he hopes to one day be able to reunite the lost memberes and bring them back into the fold. However, old resentments run deep and he is not yet old enough to have much influence in his clan. As such, he trains intensely in the hopes that as he gains more status and recognition as an elite shinobi, his resulting success will make him an example of the superiority of the main-branch's training and power.

Masaru can be impetuous at times, and overeager to get into a fight, but he never gives up on a goal he's set himself to and he is always there to lend a helping hand to his friends. He personally, before her father took over her training, helped improve his squadmate Honoka's taijutsu. Even though his skill in genjutsu is questionable, his is an expert in the physical martial arts and is exceptionally quick on his feet, as he trains daily with weighted clothing weighing as much as 20 kilos on especially challenging days. He does not wear any weighted clothing during missions, however. He attempted to do this on his first mission as a chuunin, and when a battle broke out he was forced to strip off his weighted clothing and almost got himself and his new squad killed for it. He gained that scar across his cheek for his mistake, and afterwards requested a transfer back to his old squad with Atsuko and Honoka. It was this early failure that was one of the reasons he has not yet become a jounin, and was a small setback to his plans for the reincorporation of the Dazai Clan.

Taijutsu Style: Legendary Strike
This taijutsu relies largely on its devastating kicks to deal damage to its enemies. In addition to power, speed is pushed to its absolute human limits, and a few of the Dazai Clan can even open the inner gates. Through his continuous and difficult training, Masaru can go as far as the Fourth Gate, the Gate of Pain (傷門 Shoumon). His father can open up to the Fifth Gate, the Gate of Closing (杜門 Tomon), which is essential for the true potential of Legendary Strike to unfold, because the Fifth Gate unleashes the awesome raw power and speed, allowing the attacker to rain down blows too quickly for their opponent to block, and the finishing kicks will put the opponent down for good. The Dazai Clan's signature finishing move is called "Leaping Storm Dragon Harmony" and consists of a flying kick that appears to be a single powerful strike, but in reality is dozens of kicks that are executed so fast as to be seen as only one. Masaru is still far from mastering this ultimate technique, but when he does, he will be able to cover a large distance at an astonishing speed to deliver his final devastating attack. As with all taijutsu moves that rely upon the Inner Gates, Masaru risks massive damage to his own body in using this technique. Masaru also is creating his own version of this technique's ultimate move, which he calls "Thousand Cuts Harmonic Symphony", which is an attack with his katana that seems to be one cut but in fact is many cuts. So far he is up to 14 strikes, but only when he is at the Fourth Gate. He is improving himself so he can execute this move without relying upon the gates (which are often a double-edged sword), but it may be a long time in coming.

Also, possibly tag-team modes where you can swap out members of your squad, kind of like in DOA.

Advantages/Disadvantages: The increase in the heat of the flames means that the damage done to the thing inside the barrier is increased. With hotter flames comes more chakra to be needed.

Kurayami Leader, I think you could make Raiu into an original story. You've got enough material throughout your story that would still be great even without the Naruto undertones. Either way, it's still great stuff.

Here are the appearances and personalities for my three-person cell.

SASHITA:
Appearance:
Head:
Hair: Sashita’s hair is burnt umber brown with a blond streak through it. Her hair short and spiky, think teenager or older Gohan from DBZ but a bit more girly really.
Eyes: Sashita’s eyes are chestnut brown with some green flecks around the pupil.
Clothes: Sashita’s hitai-ite is the same colour as her hair and is worn on her right shoulder (the reason for that is in her life story). Sashita wears an elbow length sienna brown shirt with a tight-fit, wrist-length sandy brown fish-net shirt under that. As well as knee length sepia brown cargo pants, though they are a little less baggy than average cargo pants. She has tight-fit, ankle-length sandy brown fish-net pants under the cargo pants. Her shinobi sandals and finger-less gloves are russet brown. (If you haven’t guessed, she likes brown A LOT, mostly because in fits in with her earth element.)

Personality:
Sashita is a real tom-boy. She is calm until battle starts, then … well let’s just say a war battlefield that she’s on would have shinobi battling all over the place then a 10 metre circle around Sashita and, in that 10 metre circle, ground would run red. She has that self-sacrifice attitude where she would throw herself in front of a speeding kunai for one of her comrades. Sashita despises tardiness and laziness to the extent that … well she could make Kakashi break his habit of being late and stop the Nara's from saying words like 'troublesome' and 'drag' every other sentence. She is forever training and working on jutsu combinations.

HITAKU:

Head:
Hair: Hitaku’s hair is very unruly, with some of it hanging down over his forehead and often it partially covers his ears. His hair colour is pitch black.
Eyes: Hitaku’s eyes are pear green in colour. In the Wave arc of Naruto, Zabuza, when talking about the Sharingan analyses it as the piercing eye and the hypnotic eye, Hitaku’s eyes could be said to be piercing eye. The look in Hitaku’s eyes is usually a calculating one.
Clothes: Hitaku wears a black hitai-ite in the strange position of diagonally across his head. The hitai-ite covers up most of his nose, one eye and half of his mouth. It slants from the left to the right. He wears a wrist-length, light grey shirt which has slightly looser arms, ankle-length, dim grey pants with many pockets and a black chunin vest. Hitaku’s shinobi sandals and finger-less gloves are slate grey.
Other tidbits: Hitaku has a giant seal that starts at the base of his neck and continues out for another 5 or 6 centimetres, it looks like a big necklace (I haven't yet thought up a use for this seal, if anyone wishes to suggest sometime that they think may go with Hitaku's character, be my guest).

Personality:
Hitaku is a serious being with a lighter side when he is hanging with his friends. He is a train-oholic who spends his days working on new genjutsu, practicing his taijutsu, working on seals or meditating … that is when he hasn’t been dragged away from that by Sashita and Tanako. Sometimes, after a few drinks he will use his genjutsu skills to play pranks on villagers or shinobi. Hitaku has trained his senses to be above average even for a shinobi. He has down that through his work ethic and meditating.

TANAKO:

Head:
Hair: If Hitaku’s hair is unruly, Tanako’s hair is a jungle. It is electric yellow (slightly darker than Naruto’s) and never seems to be ‘styled’ at all (which it isn’t, a.k.a. I’m leaving it up to you as to how you wish his hair to look)
Eyes: Tanako’s eyes are a striking forest green colour. There is nothing overly unusual about Tanako’s eyes except they can be slightly mesmerizing at times and it’s all because of the colour.
Clothes: Tanako wears his hunter green hitai-ite across his chest, from under his armpit on his left side to above his shoulder on the right side. He wears a wrist-length, tea green shirt with rather tight sleeves and slightly looser around the chest and ankle-length, tight-fit olive drab pants. Tanako’s shinobi sandals and finger-less gloves are camouflage green.
Other tidbits: Tanako wears camouflage green armour; shoulder plates, chest and back plates, thigh guards and lower leg guards. He also has two black holsters on his forearms, which contain his speciality blades.

Personality:
Tanako is wild by nature. He is always taking risks. He will charge in head-on without a plan. He is head-strong, in a different way to Hitaku. He loves to train and hang out with his friends. When Hitaku pulls pranks, it’s usually because of Tanako. He once tried to meditate but he has more energy than Naruto, so it was a bit hard for him. Once, now and then, he will actually listen to Hitaku or Sashita but it doesn’t happen often.
