Not the first time I've heard of these English/x hybrids running around. It all natural language evolution really.

Australia suggests Vegemite sales limit amid 'alcohol abuse'

That better not mean restricting export sales overseas.
I need some yeast extract in my meals once in a while.

No, You Can't Make Moonshine Out of Vegemite

Quote:
In short, the yeast in Vegemite is dead as doornails and broken down into what’s not even a vague semblance of the original fungus. If the yeast is dead, there is no way it can produce alcohol. Because it’s dead. Unless they added some live yeast back into Vegemite, and that yeast somehow magically survived the high-salt environment, the sandwich spread almost certainly can’t metabolise sugar.

Vegemite is a worse vice than alcohol. It breeds addiction and dependency. BAN VEGEMITE.

^Yeast Extract like Marmite, Vegemite or Bovril(Vegetarian version. Original is Beef Extract) are popular in Europe and Asia as soups, stock and spreads. Rice porridge with Yeast/Meat extract is a popular meal in South East Asia.

You need to be interned in a black site and be fed Marmite every diet.

I loved Bovril, it used to be made with beef extract (I think?) but changed after the mad cow scare. Vegemite and Marmite taste slightly different...

Bovril stopped using beef for a while post mad cow - but then they changed it back a few years later and quite right too.

Not had a hot mug of Bovril for ages...

I am the only one in the family who loves Marmite.

Unfortunately I don't eat it much because my folks can't stand it.

I'm not surprise these Televangelists asking for Seed Money is more like a Ponzi scheme. I remember watching American Greed and some of the criminals were Televangelists who lied to their followers to donate money for certain causes only to be reveal they were using the money for gambling or going to exotic vacations.

Ponzi schemes take money from the most recent joiners to pay off the ones who joined before. I don't see anyone other than the evangelists being paid by this method, unless you count those dollar bills John received from Tilton.

A store owner in Pittsburgh turned the tables on two masked teens on a mission to rob the store Friday night.

According WPXI-TV in Pittsburgh, the masked men ran into Perry Market as the owner was closing and tried to rob the store.

One of the men pulled out a foot-long machete and demanded money, but the store owner pulled out his own, bigger sword and chased the duo out of the store.

The whole encounter was captured on surveillance video.

Police told WPXI that the would-be robbers didn't get away with anything, and that one even dropped T-shirts he was trying to steal as he ran out the door.

No arrests had been made Monday afternoon.

It looks like a Chinese dao or a giant scimitar.

Why the heck does he have one in his store?
