The .hack//sign world was interesting and the .hack//Roots world was WAY more interesting then that. Liminality pretty much summed everything up in a really awesome short series...and Legend of the Twilight Bracelet....I don't even. I'm really excited about this though, it seems like they take the characters from //Sign, //Roots, and //Infection(the game) and add a twist.

Female Kite = Hot
New Black Rose = Really Hot
Balmung = Cool as usual.
Kid Version of Macha = Could be interesting.
Various Characters from all series = Awesome.

Definitely looking forward to the box set!

Sakuya mentioned that Mary chose "Black Rose". So does this mean R:X's classes are based around famous players from the previous versions of the game? If so I apologize for my earlier comments about them looking similar. They managed to give an excuse. xD;

Also, Ovan cameo = most awesome part of this episode. Nice to see Shino and Tsukasa again too.~

Well I'll be, I guess the Aina look-alike was the player behind Pi after all. xD;

It's been a little hard to follow, but I hope the last episode can clear up my confusion.

Does Helba really even PLAY games? He/She had every stat hacked, there was no point playing.
I thought of her because of that part where Shamrock seemed to realize that she knows something when she felt hurt during the times where her assistant gripped her hand...so I just assumed that she's someone who knows well about the other side of The World

Subs out. Seems hermit was the boy that needed the organ to live. Seems he didnt get one in time and died. Through some technology his mind was still in the world and he awoke with that stick in his hand that let him do pretty much anything in the world. Near the end of the ep they were talking about how he was still alive, preserved somehow and that someone was probably manipulating him.

Was ok for a ova, yet it was super rushed. Would have been nicer to see something like this in a series. Oh well, interesting concept though, bandai needs to make the .hack franchise into a real MMO =).

just saw ep 3

not bad as a whole. Think it could've been better if it was longer and not that rushed. I guess the ending was the best you could hope for so it was good.

Seems to me like the ending was setting up a future plot-line with this Digitized Soul machine.

But yeah, as stated above it was a little rushed, so they probably might have done better with another episode or 2. A little hard to follow too but then again .hack usually has some complex plot-lines which I consider an asset.

I'm sad we didn't get to see any avatars in action, but at least it's confirmed they're still around since Shamrock had Tarvos' data drain.~

Quick question:

How far are we in real life to have .hack technology?

Ehhh, didn't like who the "villain" turned out to be in the end, it just rubbed me the wrong way for some reason, but man was that a sequel hook towards the end. I take it that the "digitized soul" isn't something from a previous .hack installment but something totally new?

This series turned out to be much better than I expected. For my personal taste I think it might have been better with one more ep and a little more story detail, but still all in all I thought it was quite good.

The single most important aspect of .hack is that they have invented true artificial intelligence. As a side effect, the digital world the AI lives in is also able to contain human souls.

The World was created as an AI manufacturer. We are still not sure how to start on that.
