...hmm...hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. And I think it's particularly true in the case of female otaku. They can get vehemently vicious in their lashing out when they consider themselves scorned by the object of their obsession. Male otaku are creepy but female ones can be downright terrifying.

There are many levels of otakuism. I more meant the one on the obsessive end of the scale. Those who are on the casual end are pretty much fun people. =)
