Indeed, and I may have said so before, the power of a demon seems not to be the sole determining factor in the "game". The qualities of the keepers are very much an important part of it as well: Without Kiyomarus resourcefulness, Gash would merely have been an average demon. With it, he is certainly a contender for the throne.

Also, how the interface between the demon and the keeper works seems important. I believe that Bragos resentment of his keeper and the bond between them will eventually be what defeats him.

A bit of spoilage for those who have not yet seen ep 25.

Still, my current guess for the three last standing would be: Gash, Brago and Ropes.

Aha, but I have a strong suspicion that that situation is going to be sorted out some short time before the final.

Also, there is the distinct possibility of an endgame boss, so the final match in the game proper might not be in the last episode. It will definetly be a herald of the imminent termination of the show, though...

Apollo's power terrifies me. He seems to be precognitive. It is nearly impossible to fight him because he can always dodge everything. Even if he can't see the attack he still knows to dodge it. The only way to beat him would be to leave him nowhere to dodge to. He might not be invincible, but he is the nearest thing we've seen yet. __________________ There's not that fine a line between willing suspension of disbelief and something just being stupid.

Spoiler: In short, I concur with NoSanninWa: The Apollo-Ropes team might just be the strongest contender we have seen so far. Apollo with his precognition and hyper speed make the versatile, but otherwise unimpressive Ropes a truly fearsome adversary. Still, my current guess for the three last standing would be: Gash, Brago and Ropes.
