Technically there's only 3-4 volumes remaining for baccano (word from the author). So it all depends if the editor/author intends for a "one volume every 3 years" like the just did.

^it means that the author shortened what he had in mind after those 3 years (since it was supposed to be 2 more volumes to finish that arc + 1-2 volume for the final arc), we went from 3-4 to 2.
The volume released isn't even 300 pages long, too. Looks like they decided to end it as soon as possible considering the awful sales (they were already too bad to even appear on oricon weekly sales before, so can't even imagine what they have become after 3 years of silence on this series).
That's logical. A bit sad to see that after waiting for so long for it, but still logical. At least if he doesn't wait another 3 years before releasing the next volume, we'll see the end soon.

No, ANN misintepreted the end of 1935 arc with the end of the entire series. 2003 is still the final arc.

Probably the first time that no SAOP volume has come out. It's usually every December after all. Was expecting Strange Fake 4 to come out as well since Narita released 2 volumes last year and he's only released 1 this year. Maybe in January next year.
