He could say his goal for winning is to get laid by Miyuki, but that doesn't mean winning actually accomplishes what he wants. He's not competing against any Course 2 students, so it's not like him winning would actually prove any sort of superiority. You're going to have to explain how it would actually prove it instead of just echoing his delusional beliefs.

That makes absolutely no sense. So just because he's being irrational, him winning proves his point? He's not competing against weeds, losing wouldn't prove him wrong any more than winning would prove him right.
If he loses, it adds nothing to the storyline besides more irritating delusional claims of superiority. See, it's easy to make the claim, and it retains its truth, because if he's delusional enough to think winning means anything, he can write off any loss just as easily. The only way a "loss" will mean anything is if he gets taken out to the point that Tatsuya has to step in and win for the school, but all that would do for the story is show once again that all must praise him. |
