Dunno why they didn't come up with more different dialogue for the 4koma, the script is essentially identical to the famous nyoro~n strip. "Yaa Gahara-san, Gahara-san! Do you have any smoked cheese?" "You must have already eaten it." "Arya~n..."

Nah, SHAFT is the only "cool" studio that has the balls the experiment like this. All the other studios just follow generic structure that has been worked to death yet still works to a certain degree. SHAFT is the studio for the NEW generation.

SHAFT styles are always hit or miss. I felt Negima!? (the 2nd season) didn't work under this style, it felt very odd for a 'generic' harem. But with Zetsubo Sensei, it worked waaay too perfect.
Bakemonogatari, it works most of the time, but at the same time it makes it difficult to understand in one watching. Which can be seen as a good or bad thing.

Someone made the inevitable photoshopping... now waiting for the remaining two pieces. Mayoi and Hanekawa? Or Meme and Shinobu?
This is by Kantoku, by far one my favourite artists around. His drawings are refined, detailed and often quite soothing, like this one. Judging by this old preview pic, I was expecting Nadeko to be a bit more mature and attractive than how she was shown in the anime. Nadeko, being Nadeko. Kanbaru, being Kanbaru. Some Senjougahara never hurts..
