I can't read Japanese, but from what I have read on Beast Liar it seems like the Fate is getting an iOS/Android remake.

Apparently, an unused servant design from Fate/Stay Night, designated as a "Servant of the Shield" or "Stray Servant", will appear in the Fate game (Fate/Grand Order?).

Why am I saying this? Remember the manga? It started as UBW and it ended like Fate. And in my opinion, if you excluded HF part, they did that manga excellent. So I would not be surprised if the real surprise would be manga route for anime + last episode.

Even if anime is pure UBW it will be awesome, and with HF getting it's movie as well maybe we will get to see Fate remake after everything is done.

This is indeed great time to be Fate fan.

I wouldn't be remotely shocked to see them add a large amount of Saber's character development from Fate into UBW. They're not going to turn it into Fate by stealth, though, that just doesn't work, and it would seriously piss people off if they tried.

As for Ilya and Kotomine, they'll just point people at HF. Both of them get a lot of development there (even if they do both end up dead).

Well after 10 years of hoping HF fans go their own movie series ( it will be a movie series like KnK, anything less will destroy the route ).
And after UBW and HF why not animate the only route left? It will only bring more money.

You are thinking of Fate/Grand Order, that is suppose to be something else than the Fate route release for iOS and Android.

Potential movie series of HF, it could still be one movie. I would wait with calling it a movie series until it has been explicitly stated.

In the long run, I winder if this kind of "split the difference" approach could also work for the Fate/Extra games?

Say, if Ufotable did a TV series (with a certain Master/Servant combo) based on the first F/E game, and a theatrical release (with either the same or a different pair of protagonists) for CCC.

That would be awesome too! But it makes people wonder how much effort Type-Moon is putting into developing the Fate franchise. With the latest announcements, including fate/strange fake and Fate/Grand Order, it seems TM is totally not done with the franchise and is even trying to make it bigger.

And talking of work by TM, when are we going to get that elusive Tsukihime anime?
