Miyuki is genetically modified to the point that Tatsuya's closest genetic relative on the Yotsuba side is Maya. Even with a DNA test it would show Miyuki and Tatsuya are not closely related.

I would have to disagree with you there. It was stated that all of the dna tests stated to hem being real brother and sisrer. But in reality Maya is the closest relative that is natural.

Reread volume 16. DNA tests stated they were siblings. However, Maya revealed that they were tampered with to give that result. As MRD143 stated, Miyuki was genetically modified to the point they are nolonger genetically related.

Was just re-reading vol 17 and I got to the part where Kazama is asking Tatsuya if they can continue to rely on his support and it really hit me that without Tatsuya the 101 is useless. During Okinawa and Yokohama without Tatsuya the JSDF and 101 would have suffered heavy casualties and might not have been able to stop the GAA at all. Especially since Liu Yunde was going to deploy with the fleet and I doubt if Itsuwa Mio could physically handle the stress of a full blown naval battle.

101 wasn't even around during Okinawa. But seriously Yokohama wasn't where they were useless. It was in all the domestic affairs after that where they did nothing or just used Tatsuya.

Sorry my bad I should have made it clear and separated Okinawa and Yokohama. The JSDF was just tagalong's to Tatsuya at Okinawa because Tatsuya healed JSDF soldiers and broke the enemies morale and caused the GAA forces to panic and surrender THEN wiped out the invasion fleet. The 101 was useless at Yokohama as well as the domestic issues with Stars and Parasites. How many members of 101 were injured and had to be saved by Tatsuya during Yokohama? Plus Tatsuya is the one who broke the GAA's morale and caused them to panic not the 101. I don't know why Tatsuya continues to associate with the 101. Actually Tatsuya should have told Kazama to bugger off at the convention center because Tatsuya's duty was to escort Miyuki to a safe place outside of the combat zone. I am tired of Tatsuya being hamstrung because the Military has decided that his abilities are to be kept secret, he should just use them and dare them to try and contain him.

Tatsuya's actually born from one of Maya's eggs so he and Miyuki are actually cousins. But what I'm concerned about is since Miya and Maya are twins, Tatsuya and Miyuki should be treated as biological half-siblings.
