Like what he said earlier, the Volume changed from being Vali's to Issei's. 20 has important events on it so it is only proper for it to be Issei's.

Volume 21 is Vali's and the end of the 4th arc is at sight.

3.) Then, the anime.
The Rating Game matches (Round 1) in the anime will be :
* Sairaorg vs Zephyrdol
* Rias vs Diodora
* Sona vs Seekvaira

In the novels, it was (Round 1)
* Rias v Sona
* Sairaorg v Zephyrdol
* Diodora v Seeky

Ishibumi said that think of the matches as them being grouped by the higher ups because of politics.

I revisited the page and dunno why it slipped me at that time. Probably got thrown off because of the Gundam things.

I mentioned that Agares' clan ability is related to time and nothing else.

Basically, what it does is the generic ability you can think of regarding time. Makes an area experience discontinuity in time: hours inside the area but only minutes outside. Just like the barrier placed around Agreas created by Azi Dahaka in Volume 17 (this made me think of some conspiracy theory shits about Seeky but with her being a mecha otaku? Nah ).

P.s. To add to Jop's comment from Ishibumi's blog. Seekvaira and Diodora had an unofficial Rating Game which Diodora won and got overconfident as a result. Also Seekvaira and Sona are seeded. This is the part i don't understand. Sairaorg aside, why is Sona and Seekvaira seeded, especially when Seekvaira lost to Diodora.

Probably because Seekvaira has a Dragon as a queen. And pretty much everyone thought Diodora's victory was fishy in the LN, so maybe they took that in consideration.

All queens are female with 2 known exceptions
Both exceptions are dragons
Both exceptions are the only case of a dragon as a queen

It seems in DxD, if you're candidate for queen is not a girl or a male dragon, then you're not doing it right.

Now, think of round 2. Since Sona and Seeky are seeded, then they should be on opposite ends; meaning Sairarog v Rias won't happen before they play out against those two.


Now, now, now, if all these are really what it is, I'm seeing something incredible here. What if they do an anime-original match between Sona and Rias as an OVA?

The changes are very high here, i didn't noticeor actually i missed out till i reread in his twitter but Ishibumi said they just changed the exchange matches between 6 young Devils in the LN to tournament base in the anime, so we might get Rias vs Sona after all.

Sona's team will be playing a bigger role later on in the plot so it'd make more sense for it to be Rias vs Sona.
