Ufotable didn't make the UBW movie, which means they don't have access to the animations of Deen's UWB movie.

I am happy the fans of rin and sakura get a anime and movie(s) i guess but the whole fate/order thing seem like a apolagie to Saber fans and saying "sorry saber fans but saber got the short of the stick" so heres something to you to ease the pain. What happen
to all the girls getting a concusion, shouldnt saber get a remake too. sorry had to get that off my chest.

But I am surprised they threw this bomb on us. They spoilt us 70% of the story with this, but at least now all those headache inducing "discussions" about which route it will be are going to stop and also those damn idiots talking about an "original route being confirmed" will disappear... now we will probably only discuss what the "original scenes" are going to be... and a minority will probably still insist on Last Episode happening...

I'm not sure what it is, but it looks like a reboot of the Fate/Apocrypha game.

I can see HF working well as a movie, although I still hope there will be several of them so that they can truly do it justice. I'm just happy it's finally getting animated at long last. Only took ten + years.

If Ufotable's intent was for this project to work as a sequel to Fate/Zero, they chose the best option. In UBW, we get:

- the resolution of Kiritsugu's story through Shirou.
- the resolution of Saber's story if they go for the true ending. We don't need Fate for that. They just need to develop Saber a bit more than in the original route and everything will be fine.
- the resolution of Rin's story.

With HF, we get:

- the resolution of Sakura's story.
- the resolution of Zouken's story.
- the resolution of Kotomine's story.
- more information about the true nature of the holy grail that was touched upon in F/Z.

The only character that will get the short end of the stick is Gil. However, it's probably not that big a deal since I suspect a lot of F/Z fans hate Gil and will be satisfied to see him go down like a bitch twice.

Wow, can't believe they announced 2 routes at the same time. They are really trying to please all fans except the saber and fate fans I guess. But Saber can still get her development in ubw route only without the romance.(or maybe they are going to troll us and pair shirou with saber and rin with archer) So hyped right now.

I am sure they used the word "Rin Route" during the livestream, so I doubt that happens.

I'm pretty much screaming like a fan girl. UBW is the best route and I feel is the one that would appeal to most people.

Keener viewers noticed the HF announcement was worded like the KNK announcement so it might indeed be a series of movies.

It has to be a series as theres a limit (i think)to how long a movie can be and HF is very long. Also, they know how better it would be if they kept us on our toes.

That is not true. Gil was pretty well liked in Fate Zero. But not like he was that great in the original FSN VN so they can only do so much.

I'm glad they are doing a UBW route anime. I just hope HF is going to be several movies rather than just one.

I liked how they did the Heaven's Feel trailer. Really gave you the idea how different in tone it is to Fate and UBW.

I only just noticed... a 2-cour anime and a movie (or movie series). For some reason I don't like the fact that it is exactly the same thing DEEN did... what happens next? In 5-10 years another studio gets the rights for F/SN and then they do a full HF anime and additionally a Fate movie? Then all of it would be a full circle...
