Last I read was the part where Lefille got de-aged into a little girl, and the Maou makes her move.

They reached the empire's capital, acquinted with a loli and princess, court magician girl followed and joined them too, solving a mysterious crime involving loli. That's before the mass release today. Someone go read it. I'm currently reading a good gender bender novel now.

What? My foresight is correct. It's getting World Teacher level of bad development.

It was doing fine when it was single heroine that is Refille's arc. The caravan's decimation, her curse, her lolification opened up great development possibilities.

But then we reached the empire and came Liliana's arc. Trying to have enemy heroine, trying to be dark. Failed spectacularly because author chickened out in the end, brought out this darkness creature shit and template mastermind to shift the blame from Liliana, and ended up as a joke arc.

On top of that becoming generic harem story like Sasoras' spoilers stated.

The clincher being best girl (Titania) is in the other dude's harem instead.
