You've got to start at YGOTAS and DBZA then. Both start a little slow since they were random fan projects at first, and didn't have a budget. YGOTAS is where it all started and DBZ is the gold standard for all abridges now. They've got a full cast, are completely hilarious, and the VA work/editing is professional level.

Then you pivot to Hellsing Ultimate Abridged...

I started watching this Code MENT today just 'cuz and it's pretty funny. Episodes are super short which helps. I'll check out those other 3 when I finish it in a couple hours.

Ishibumi updated his blog.

1.) He talked about the recent interview and he was happy that not only is DxD popular to males but also to females.

2.) Next, is about the light novel. His first entry about that is that the title was erroneously listed as "Career Counselling" (w/c is 14's) but immediately corrected it to "Career Consultation". Though he edited it out to just say 20 is "Belial of Career Consultation"

Ishibumi said that he's aware of the similarity of the title with 14 but there's nothing special about it to take note of.
Like what he said earlier, the Volume changed from being Vali's to Issei's. 20 has important events on it so it is only proper for it to be Issei's.

Volume 21 is Vali's and the end of the 4th arc is at sight.

3.) Then, the anime.
The Rating Game matches (Round 1) in the anime will be :
* Sairaorg vs Zephyrdol
* Rias vs Diodora
* Sona and Seeky are seeded.

In the novels, it was (Round 1)
* Rias v Sona
* Sairaorg v Zephyrdol
* Diodora v Seeky

Ishibumi said that think of the matches as them being grouped by the higher ups because of politics.
