Spoiler for Leitmeritz-Legnica Campaign confirmed:
OK, guys. This is it! Elen finally fight against Fine in the 16th Volume and boy it is amazing. Since the last volume, we see their volatile reunion and we finally see their battle in the upcoming volume . How will this battle decide the fate of Fine? Will she be slain by Elen as the means in avenging Vissarion and the Silver Gale Mercenaries? Or will Elen reluctantly spares Fine out of mercy? Or is it....something else?
Whichever the case, we will going to find out why once the story is confirm via the chapters and the illustrations.
Well, Volume 12 did explaining Fine's backstory immediately after her introduction so it shouldn't be surprise including Elen's and Lim's as well, before its destruction by the former at least....
Nah, bad luck is not a thing because, considering Bargren's nature in defying against even their own owners, one would wonder if the Fire Viralt made a bad decision in choosing its owner? Why because a) we are introduced a crippled one who rarely going out to battle and b) the new Vanadis show little interest in governing because of her trust issues.....
If you read the near epilogue of Volume 12, she did have some ministers and retainers-who went for her after the fall of House Kazakov in Polus-as her allies. About Ruslan part, she is gonna manipulate that in order to get what she want because, according to the raw, Ruslan was indebted to Tina for his miraculous recovery, so she would likely to use that as her advantage. For the Vanadis part though.....
Speaking of which, Setsuna86 is back with a new chapter and boy it is finally worth to wait. We have more conversation between Tigre and Mila after they defeat Vodyanoy, there is one condition for Mila to even help Tigre though.....
Spoiler for Volume 13 Chapter 3 Review:
We see more conversation between Tigre Mila now and apparently, it seems that Mila nearly leaving Brune since she have got what she came for, and somewhat disappointed to see him in his sorry state. And here encouragement to Tigre seemly enlightening Tigre a little bit. Then, while he is shocked to hear Muozinel Army's second invasion, saving Elen is still Tigre's priority and request Mila's help to save her, to which Mila reluctantly agrees while pointing out Greast Army's food rations. Could this be finally showing Greast Army's weakness?
So yeah, Muozinel Army did subjugating southern Brune territories (Nemetacum included) just as we speak where half of the residents, if not most, became war salves after their unconditional surrender. Yes, it is unconditional surrender because it seemed everyone know . This however bores Kureys to the point he wanted. We then see three mayors seeing the Red Beard in order to seek Muozinel Army's aid in toppling Regin again. Why won't they never learn? Guess what happened to them next?
Well, sucks to be them because even Kureys is disgusted by their agenda and have them and their family members as war slave instead. Karma strikes back, guys! And come to think of it, Melisande's supporters made some dumber decision by finding for the men who blamed Regin for Zhcted's ceding Agnes so much all these time, does any of them knew whatever happened in Agnes? Now they had to join the invaders as slaves with their families. That's what you get for making stupid and desperate decision for trusting a wrong ally without research, you fools!
We then shift to Damad's perspective where he leads his 2,000 cavalrymen to western Brune where he also witnessed the trail of destruction by Sachstein Army and Greast Army in Brune. There, he also heard a rumor about Tigre's disappearance after the defeat of the Moonlight Knights, opting him to believe that his rival/friend as stubborn as the dessert fox. Whether this is Damad's respect or fear towards Tigre is up to debate but regardless what you think, you need to know that Damad is about to see the army that defeat the Moonlight Knights regardless.
PERFECT!!! Now we can cull them with a nuke to Muozinel... Now if only demons end up there as well...

I don't think either of us was actually expecting it. It just came as a pleasant surprise. And it means Lim will become a Vanadis, as she even seems to be holding Bargren in the pic on the cover.
Oh, we don't just count on that too early guys. Judging by the new illustration about Elen vs Fine, I think the more interesting part is how Lim got Bargren rather than just seeing the display.
Well, it's kind of obvious from looking at the cover with Lim on it that she'll become the new Vanadis of Bargren in that Volume. But yeah, it'd be good to see how Lim got the Bargren and how Fine lost them.
Well, hopefully we can see the disqualification for the first time. Mila even already mentioned it many times through several arcs back then (Remember when she deemed Elen unqualified as Vanadis during ambush by Serrash)
Yeah, but she was wrong that time because Arifal actually didn't reject Elen that time. But yeah, maybe we'll finally see an actual rejection this time.
I haven't read that series. But I hadn't noticed that the illustrator had changed. And there's been no notable change in art style, either. At least as far as I've noticed.
