Anyway, yeah, I guess it's true that making him a Maou would limiting him a bit much. He's already above a Maou in the future (but so are Sirzechs and Ajuka if you think about it, and Ajuka is still a Maou even though Sirzechs gave the position of Maou Lucifer to Vali).

About the blackmail: we're saying that in some cases, a Maou who has a harem can be blackmailed using his/her harem members ("her" being used to take into account girls with reverse harems) as bargaining chips in politics. Ise could avoid that because he has enough power and influence, and his wives themselves do as well, but other harems may not have that luxury.

Millicas can't be a Maou in the future because it is already confirmed that he is the head of the Gremories via Ex in Highschool DxD EX. Mammon I believe that he/she will be a new character that will probably be introduced in the current arc. Really that would mean that only 3 Maou positions are open Lucifer, Leviathan and Asmodeus.

Ah, yeah, that's true about Millicas. He's the Head of the Gremory, so he can't be a Maou. Lucifer is most likely taken by Vali, since Sirzechs passed that baton on to him.

Rias is supposed to be the interim heir till Millicas is old enough to become one himself. Maybe she could get the position back in the future? Considering Ise's title becomes Gremory(no idea what it means, but ehh) and Millicas becomes a Maou...

No, it can't go in reverse like that. It'll go from Millicas to one of Millicas' kids (if he has a wife who manages to give birth to a pureblood heir).

@Sparda4: Katokateki is right about Rias being an interim Head until Millicas is old enough. Rias retired from Head and became a businesswoman in the future, if I understand correctly (she's definitely a businesswoman, but what I'm saying is that I don't remember if she became one after retiring from her position as Head of the Gremory or not).

But yeah, if Ise does become a Maou, I think the Asmodeus name would suit him better because Asmodeus represents lust.

They should do what the Occult Research Club members and Rias' peerage members (including Asia and Xenovia, who are with Ise now) did for Rias. Call her Sona-neesama or something similar. She'll be happy. People have already been calling Sona-zenkaichou for a while already. Like Xenovia did.

Well when do you start to call someone by their name in japan ? LIke i know it's rude to call someone by their name right of the bat without any kind of suffix, but how long does that suffix last ? Atleast with people who are on your "level" in japanese society ?

I'm not completely sure, but I think even if Sona's servants were already that close to her, they still wouldn't call her just Sona. And they aren't that close anyway.

The guy had the balls to stand up against god's holy flame, after events like that if doubt any normal person would have trouble calling someone by their name in some other manner if they endured near death.
