This has been discussed before the only member of akatsuki with the sharingan is Itachi, the reason why people think the leader has it is because of a poor quality raw which made it look he did have the sharingan

Well looking at a shadow shouldnt be either i mean Sasuke in a shadow and Sasuke out of shadow looks really different.

But they even have the same kinda hair spike-spacing.

Uchiha have different kind of eyes when they're sharingan is off compared to the leaders.
