Nice chapter. I knew in that first fight, tsugaru lost on purpose.
I don't know about lupin figthing royce and tsugaru like that, well I guess he is mostly trying to escape and he may be strong but not for a fight againts them. Lupin is a thief not a fighter, at least that's how I see him. |

Of course they got Aleister Crowley. Is the vampire Mina Harker?
Quite the melee this episode. Should be just as much fun the next one. Can somebody please fix that insurance companies young lady agents hair? It looks truly terrible.

In literature, she predates Dracula by 26 years, for what it's worth. If you've read Glass Mask, she's also featured there in one of the plays where Ayumi quite notably performs the role. |

Professor Moriarty, Sherlock Holmes' archenemy, shows up with a dangerous assistant. Lupin thinks he has no chance to win and tells Phantom to escape together. Professor Moriarty is the one who took the girl's body. When he says the body is used for his new disciple, a British lad with curly hair, I think most people's reaction is Dio from Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure. It turns out his disciple is Jack the Ripper. The answer is somewhat disappointing.
Carmilla is associate with the occult detective genre. So, she somehow fits in the story. Carmilla's encounter with the maid reveals the maid is in the yuri relationship with the caged girl. Aleister Crowley is not associating with any detective story. The last story I know he is the founder of Academy City(To Aru Index). Last edited by scififan; 2023-08-23 at 13:36. |

So Jack managed to become a perfect Oni hybrid thanks to the study of Aya's body. It didn't grant him immortality because Moriarty didn't quite understand how Aya's body works, but it allowed him to perfectly combine with the Oni DNA and take in other monsters' powers. They already obtained a vampire and they're going after werewolves next. The really bad part is that Aya's DNA removes all the weaknesses those monsters have. Right now Jack's already at the top of the food chain. Tsugaru still held his own against him and even pulled a fast one on him, but if Jack hadn't been so arrogant, Tsugaru would be dead. RIP Fatima by the way.
Interestingly, Aya obtained her immortality because another madman she didn't name experimented on her near a thousand years ago. I wonder who it will turn out to be, but he might just be the real big bad. With Sherlock vowing to destroy Moriarty's new organization, it looks like he's there to stay. I still enjoy it but it's a shame that the series will apparently stray pretty far from the mystery genre.

lol tsugaru won in the end, but yeah he mentioned that jack did the lamp thing too when he had the diamond so they know were the werewolf are, so that what's the end game for them unless the diamond has another use.
I really liked this arc. |

What do you know? We're fully back to mystery now. The mission is to figure out who the big bad wolf is... only thing I know is that this case is probably going to be a lot more complicated than the previous two. I'd go with Louise as the main suspect but Aya told her father that he'll never see her alive again and she's always right.
In the first place, I'm not sure why they think there's a werewolf among them when there's apparently a village full of them close by.
