As for JC Staff, well - their quality range is about as wide as any studio out there. But I think they do quite well as far as sticking to the spirit of source material more often than not.

Agreed. When it comes to faithful conversions, I rate J.C.Staff pretty highly. And they have good, consistent artwork - which is part of this show's appeal.

As for the actual VA with the same name, I haven't seen the shows she's in except Log Horizon, and I don't remember the character she was supposed to have voiced there. Oh well, just gonna have to see whether he voice fits Megumi.

From my experience, she also starred in Daybreak Illusion and the Magica Wars Zanbatsu PS Vita game as Ichiko Echigo (Niigata Magica).

I was thinking the same thing wondering to myself when did she decide to be a voice actress instead of a singer now

These voice actresses aren't really recognizable to me except for Taneda Risa who even then isn't that big. It'll be hard for me to find what to expect from this show in terms of voice acting.

Hm... I have heard Risa Taneda in Kyoukai no Kanata and Glasslip. Not exactly examples of a great shows, but still. I also have heard Shizuka Ishigami in Daimidaler. Don't rememember any Minami Takahashi's characters, though.

To me, Risa's most famous role would be Yukina from Strike the Blood. She also starred in KinMosa and the two anime AntonKurovoi mentionned in his latest post. I'm also glad he pointed at least one notable role from Shizuka Ishigami, though I am pretty sure she's also involved in Blade Dance as Ellis. I don't know much about Takahashi either, however I did heard her voice somewhere in Daybreak Illusion and Magica Wars as I said in one post before.

I consider Risa Taneda one of the rising stars of anime. She was Kuroneko in Brynhildr, of course, but she really nailed it as Saki in Shin Sekai Yori. That was a fabulous performance (she was my honorable mention for Best Actress for 2013).

I swear pretty much any anime I've recalled her being in she's been this bubbly character that had some ridiculous catchphrase she says over and over again so this seems like one of those change of pace practice roles.
