Tanks are the in thing. Even though as far as I know, tanks themselves don't feature that much in the actual plot. They are there, but the main character doesn't use one. So to me they are really just trying to use the tank to sell the anime.

The director has never directed a series other than Love Live.

Thank goodness the manga character designs were used instead of the LN ones. That means the anime will at least be watchable.

I wonder how that camo pattern is going to hold up in animation. Intricate clothing patterns are one of the hardest things to animate, and when studios do it cheap, it can be hard to look at (e.g. the kimonos in Zetsubou Sensei).

By judging from those 3 girls look's in there face, there personality seems to have been changed a bit. for example Leilei personality seems to be an ordinary but uncearten and little frighted girl that still not grown up to a teenager yet.

I may say that Roy really look cool in her dress but I have one disapproving opinions to the designer who came up whit this creation over her cloth, It dosent fitt in for someone who are living in a classic medieval fantasy world, it have a to mutch modern appearance. Or Is it the new dress she bought during the time when she visited the Tokyo shopping distrikt?

That outfit is the one shown in the PV, and I doubt they've already animated the anime a episodes in at the least, so this is pretty much her anime version of her normal outfit.

Given how anachronistic the fantasy world can be at times though (the Empire having French-styled Maids and Butlers for example), and the very fact that Rory herself wears a gothic outfit in a place that more resembles the Roman Empire mixed with Medieval times, her having an outfit that looks as it does now shouldn't really be much of a problem.

I don't care much about the realism nor accuracy of the dress. What bothers me more is the fact that A1 is trying to pamper the crowd by making Rory show more of her legs.

Same goes for Lelei's loli-ish design.

As one of my friends mentioned, shorter Rori's dress probably have nothing to do with fanservice. Just that it had to much ribbons on it and will be harder to draw so they cut it

Sometimes I wonder, would it KILL them to just tell us how many cour this anime is going to be? I mean, why keeping that from us? By now they must have already booked a timeslot, what harm is it to just tell us how many episodes are they planning?

We now know the production staff, the key character designs, and some animation. Now we need to know the intended length of the show. But why do they keep quiet on that until the last minute, when it clearly would have been finalised by now?

It feels awkward to me actually.
It is not about whatever meaning of good and bad this series is.
But somehow realistic the setting is.
No, maybe the atmosphere looks very serious.
I dislike gloomy ones.

Kanemoto Hisako was it?
This person sometimes took the roles of mature looking characters.
I was rather expecting this kind of CV to voice Tuka.
Just looking at that character's face gives familiar feelings that how the other series characters that is voiced by the same person.
Sometimes it is also addicting.

I think Rory's design friggin' SUCKS! The only one of the girls it looks like they got right was Tuka. And using D&D pig orcs...*face palm*...Heaven preserve us....

and after listening to the band for the OP...*shudders*...calling that cacophony music really highlights how the definition of the term music has changed in 50 yrs.

The main issue I have with the designs is I think Leilei feels like she's too young and Rory looks too old. I mean Rory is supposed to look like a young teen isn't she? Tuka and Itami look basically perfect though.
