Nope, the dual shield build is viable in Elder Tales. It's far from being a joke build.

Hmm, I'm getting mixed feelings for this first episode. I absolutely loved the first season of Log Horizon, but the pacing of this episode was all over the place. Character design wise, the main cast looks ok and new, but some side characters worse now.

Well, that there is yet another reason why I don't play WoW. Then again, I find the game in its entirety to look hideous.

edit: Hideous as in the game looks like it escaped from 2003. I mean, even the League of Legends models have more details than that..

It's nice to have LH back, the animation is passable, in term of plot it's an introduction episode so it's a bit messy.

I am also glad they continued with the air glass joke

It's the outfit. Most of S2 new outfits show less skin.....

Didn't they say in S1, adventurers don't feel the cold/heat or something like that? Or was it something like the weather/temperature doesn't hinder them one bit.

They have resistance to it according to their level, but they are not immune to it.

Okay I knew about the studio change already but the changes in the animation still very jarring. Aside from that the story is still interesting so I don't think enjoyment will be hindered all that much. It is just something I'll just have to get used to.
