I agree with you there. Gah, I can't believe I forgot about it! Even after the new Johnny Quest aired I still preferred the old one. Oh, and Race Bannon > Everyone else. ^^

Hmmm, that's a toughie--since I really don't watch many american cartoons.
I guess I would have to say Family Guy.

Currently and only, South Park.

In the past, favorites include Family Guy, King of the Hill, Futurama, The Simpsons, The Adventures of Batman and Superman, Ed Edd and Eddy, Fairy Oddparents, Justice League and JLU, Historic(sp?), Looney Tunes, the baby spinoff of Looney Tunes, Animamanics(sp?), Bobby's World, The Adventures of Tazmanian Devil(sp?), Mutant Ninja Turtles, Charlie Brown and Garfield holiday specials, and probably plenty more favorites I can't remember on top of my head at the moment.

Currently: Simpsons and South Park.

Before or when I was younger: (I don't know if any of those can be considered as anime) Flinstones, Tom and Jerry, He-man and She-ra (hope got the name correct), Thundercats, Spiderman, Ghostbusters, Darkwing Duck, ... (I am sure there should be more, but those were the first that came to my mind and are inspired by the above posts)

Always an interesting topic. ReBoot and Talespin are all-time favorites. But what got me to posting was the realization that Avatar really has come a long way. Just finished tonight's ep, and it's pretty amazing how much this show has matured in such a short time. Its as if the writers have decided they don't have to trap themselves in American cliche, and they're allowing the story to adopt a more "anime" path. The humor has gotten much sharper and edgier, the disparate plot elements are starting to come together nicely, and all of the major characters are being developed in interesting and not always predictable ways. Most surprisngly, the voice acting and visuals continue to be astonishingly good for an American product. This has become a damn good show.

FAMILY GUY!!! That show is just hilarious. Otherwise, I'd say justice league. Can't beat all those super heroes combined... although superman did seem a little weak in the show.

OMG, i forgot south park!!!

My vote would have to go to Drawn Together, with Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi as a close second. Drawn Together makes me laugh more than any other show ever...except for some certain anime series that I used to watch...I love Ling Ling's pidjin Japanese...like...I think it's like this.

Ling Ling: Choka kuntawa kon blests?
Xandir: Umm...excuse me?
Ling Ling: Blests! BLESTS! Kinchowa--merrons! Headrights! Hootels! Flied eggs! Cleam puffs!
Xandir: Wh-wh-...what?
Ling Ling: Chinka kuntawa sawa TAKE OFF SHIRT!

That cracks me up every time!

Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law. Great lines, funny political commentary. My favorite episode is Season 2 Ep.-Birdgirl of Guantanamole. Morocco Mole is accused of being an enemy combatant in the War on Terror, and is sent to Guantanamole Prison. You even see a funny cameo of George W. Bush.

I find Harvey Birdman funnier than most anime comedies. This can be a sad commentary on the state of anime comedies these days. However Magikano is the one exception I can think of that I enjoy just as much as Birdman. Magikano gets my award for the best guilty pleasure anime of 2006.

The Critic. From the same people who brought you the Simpsons.

Robot Chicken. Already mentioned, but I enjoy it when I catch it.
