In the after credits scene Niina said that she was that she was going to let herself "obsess" [over Izumi...?] which makes me think the triangle isn't quite over.

Grand scheme I don't really know what Okada is going for with Niina's arc... and Okada's writing may be snoozeworthy and forgettable but its usually coherent.

When asked why she's willing to choose Izumi over her two friends, Niina replies it's because you can't have sex with your friends. But why does it have to be Izumi? There are thousands of dicks available. Feels like she's being a bitch for no real reason. Given what she says in the preview, she's planning to use a classic NTR plot, the "you need experience to satisfy the one you love, let me teach you".

Niina needs to spend more time online if she truly believes that she can't do anything sexual with her friends. I'm not really sure why she's so attached to the idea of her first being Izumi (she likely doesn't have any male friends that she's close to), but I hope she understands that she's potentially ruining a friendship over this guy.

Its literally becoming School Days except... sort of bland. Niina is no Sekai.

Its just odd though... it kind of seems like she's trying to torpedo things between her and Kazusa, I'm not sure why. If its not yuri I dunno anymore.

Wow, the end of episode 8 is so fucking sappy, I like it. It's pretty adorable and I'm glad Okada held herself back and didn't fuck everyone over just because edgy. Or devolve into excessive crying or screaming.

The scene and the music is a beautiful combo, reminiscent of certain other shows.

I met some crazy otome domo yo cosplayers at a con today. 4 of them.

Might give this anime another try when I run out of things to watch.

I think Niina is taking advantage of Izumi.
If she chose some strangers, things might not go accordingly her ways.
In terms of indecisiveness, Kazusa and Izumi are rather similar.
No, she is definitely going to take advantage of them both.

But she writes the best girl vs girl drama out there thanks to it (I still love that Noe vs Hiromi catfight), so, like Sensei said, the "losers" write the strongest stuff.

Okada didn't really go to school did she? She was a hardcore hikkikomori (which had to have sucked back in dial-up days) as far as I'm aware.

I can't handle Okada's love triangles though, whether True Tears or Kiznaiver or any of her adapted ones either now that I think about it. The more Otome-domo doubles down the more I want to push the series in front of a train.

Well she did kiss Saegusa and confirmed she felt nothing for him (the implication being that she does for Izumi) and Izumi is pretty much the only guy she's trusted so much to confide in her past with Saegusa so I have no doubt that she likes Izumi. Although I think Momoka is right that she's mistaken about her feelings for Izumi. Imo she's probably only pursuing Izumi harder than she would've normally done only because of the weird esoteric feeling of inferiority that Saegusa put into her head.

Gotta say, the first half of the episode really made me laugh a lot but this show ain't no comfyshit and I wasn't surprised by the direction it took thereafter. Hard to say where this is going for sure but I'm absolutely engrossed by these crazy little fuckers, that's for sure.

I told you Momoko's wannabe boyfriend was a dick. I never thought it would lead her to the realization she's in love with Niina, however. That kind of came out of the left field for me. Did I miss all the hints? She was shown admiring her a lot, but that's about all I can remember. For the first time in the series, Niina is genuinely at a loss.

Izumi is beating himself up because even though he loves Kazusa, he finds Niina very attractive but I'd say that's pretty normal. She's been described by pretty much everyone as having the body of a Goddess, who wouldn't get hard in the situation he was in?

I felt bad for Hongou, but Milo-sensei did the right thing. Or more like, didn't do anything.

Everything's still peachy for Sonezaki. Or it was, until the teacher dropped that bomb. I'm afraid she's going to try to distance herself from Amagi out of fear the same thing might happen to her if she falls in love too deeply with him.

Not related to the plot but I need to ask something that's been bothering me since the first episode. Does anyone else think Sumire Uesaka sounds A LOT like Youko Hikasa in this show? It always takes me a while to remember it's not actually her. Like, it's seriously uncanny to me.

Well, it wasn't the yuri I expected necessarily but I'm totally on board with Momoko and Niina now... the Izumi thing seems like its going to drag further after that guilty boner, though.

Expected School Days and instead it felt a lot like Kiznaiver. Not a bad episode though. But... how did the gyaru not use protection or birth control? Its supposed to be the plain one that gets knocked up...
