If from what I have read of the manga is a faithfully representation of the LN then there is no denying that it desperately comes across as wanting to be an h-manga really badly.

There is a decent plot at work here and character personalities in general are surprisingly less trope-ly than they initially appear. But how much one gets into and stick with this series will depend if they can get pass borderline softcore porn nature some of the content. Because that's certainly going to be a barrier, especially to those who most think LNs are fully nothing but fanservice.

One other thing I'll give to the story's credit, if this is suppose to be a harem it's doing a good job as not appearing as one.

Anycase depending how well it's adapted the anime should be fun, if only just to see the fights animated.

Nee, the manga depict the scenes as regular ecchi ones, they are not as intense as how they are described in the novel

The art looks nice but even then, I was really bothered by how the redhead's large chest got shaped like water balloons instead of reasonable-looking breasts. I know the anime medium can do insane physics but come on...

This is nothing compared to Horizon's, I assure you.

My biggest worry is that those breasts are not given justice by the animation.

Will this one be better than Absolute Duo, Unlimited Fafnir & Seiken Tsukai no World Break in terms of story? Anyone have any knowledge of the source material for any of these?

This serie is made just for the sake of ecchi, pure and hard ecchi(if it is not called soft hentai), there is a good plot, but the anime may no animate the best true plot parts since it comes later in the books, but there are good fights
I dont have any idea of those series, but take this point in mind, central point is ecchi

I'll end up watching all of these that's for sure, but I had higher hope for Unlimited Fafnir myself despite having the simpliest artwork of them all.

At least fights and Ecchi stuff are clearly split. If it follows the source material well, you will NOT get Ecchi stuff in the middle of fights.

The LN is from the same author as Haguure Yuusha LN, btw.
