That's the only way to indicate that it wore off. Sure, it's improbable, but not any more improbable as her being shot right in the middle of marking it, either. If she stopped because she was shot, I would expect the line to ominously trail off.

With the end of this episode, almost all original SIS characters are under the influence of Geass, but the new additions might be tougher to handle than ever

The confrontation with Villetta is also quite a highlight, with the scarasm of unwrapping the wine bottle.. (perhaps it signifies the joining of the black order?)

The highlight will be the reaction of Lelouch on answering the phone, although we should know what is the result already

I wonder if C.C will be disgusted by Pizza from now on? XD Cheese-kun!! <33 The race to the Pizza with Arthur leading the way was pure win, and the feather was probably meant to be a symbol or something I am sure... Like... Euphie has paved the way for C.C to land in Pizza so that Lulu and the two other members of his harem can feat on power! XD

The only reason no one consider that a possibility is because we've been told by Sunrise that it can't wear off. It will end when the girl dies, or when the wall is destroyed. The "end" of a Geass is determined by the victim, so it only ends when the victim think the job is concluded.

The girl might still be alive, but only if she is locked up, kept medically sedated, or both.

They were first talking abo ut the knightmare (handled by xinghe)
Then they were talking about rollo and his knightmare, with CC asking about his geass
Following is the part where Karen ask if her identify as a pilot to be a secret is a request from Zero or Lelouch, where Lelouch says it is her own choice
Last part is the knowledge of the identity of the three person

On a side note, Suzaku told her that Nina was "doing fine" and that Kallen was probably okay too, since the Guren Nishiki was spotted in the chinese consulate.

Poor Lulu thought that their memories were altered. I shouldn't be surprised if he will be betrayed by the council. I wonder how the council react when Lulu returned to Ashford during the one year gap with Rollo tagging along? They really played along with him. How about Nunnally? They lost her during the Black Rebellion. Are they notified on the news of Nunnally? Did they know about the surveillance? Lulu will be shocked if they are in the cahoot with Britannia.

As expected, the episode was sub-par. Too many forced repeatings from season 1, too many characters and not enough screen time for them to properly interact really kills the story...

*sigh* yeah, it kinda ruins my little fetish for Lloyd/Milly. I just thought Lloyd could be a gentleman :P and I did like the way he just casually revealed to the whole school that he was her fiancee in Season1 >D But I guess I'd be luckier to get Nina/Lloyd moments at the moment, neh?

Suzaku's thought for Kallen brought back the Suzaku/Kallen fangirl in me to life though XD coz with the invisible bits of Li/Kallen fanservice and the Suzaku/Arthur( holy 1st yaoi ship evah~ >D) goodness I kinda forgot why I liked the thought of those two together. XD In the preview for next episode it looks like the might be a Gurren vs Lancelot fight, dare I hope <3

Oh and thanks guys for all the explanations, my knowledge of japanese is still abysmall at best but I'd kinda guessed correctly, except I still don't understand what C.C mouthed before falling into teh tomato doom pool >D

Yeah, I mean, seriously, those double-takes are absolutely wonderful! The writers are win, those are not 'forced' repetitions, they're sort of like reminders, and if anything they're proof of the author's genius! The efforts are not unappreciated on my part. I also enjoyed the humor, though I agree with whoever thinks the amount of fan service was a bit excessive >D but who can get enough?

no, I mean like what were the big repeats of season 1 this episode? the fact they had a festival? that they made a giant pizza? that there was a scene where someone was preparing ingredients for the pizza? that arthur stole something? That Lelouch made a phone call on the roof?

what does that have to do with any of the content of the episode? They're all completely superficial comparisons since they ignore whats going on in the scenes and just focus on some background detail. In other words, they're basically just forced by the viewer.

Giant pizza festival for which stupid CC shows up(now ten times as stupid? There are 49+ agents especially targeting her in the Academy!), Kallen in a monster costume, Arthur steals something and everyone chases after him, Lulu uses smokescreen to cover things up

All in this one episode, is that enough of "forced repeatings"?
