It baffles me that Camille and Royce seem honestly convinced that Royce could fail to get into the Academy. He's the heir to the throne and this is his nation's school. What are they going to do, reject him? Heck, the same probably goes for a lot of nobles taking the exam.

I mean, they might assign Royce to 'special classes' if he were a complete dunce, but I'm sure they'd find a way to get him in.

The story gets a lot less slice of life in the arcs after the first and I can see them making pretty good books

There are some arcs here and there but it still mostly slice of life. I think the problem isn't whether it has some arcs or not, but I just find it difficult to pick which chapter should be the first chapter of the book and which chapter should be the end

That would only be the case if all the characters were the same as the game and they were just missing. With all the girl characters seemingly swapped with other world people there's a lot of chances for mayhem. Especially with the heroine seeming all hostile.

I don't think the Heroine won there though, it was more like a swap with Achille and then an escape was used.

camille is villain and the heroine is the protag.
coming to this world means she has to live as the heroine and most likely need to do the things she need to do to survive like in the game.
seeing the villain act strange will not only confusing but also make her scared.
it's like 'what is her scheme ?'' thing.
