Me: " What do you MEAN we need three people to pilot my unit"
Judge: "But it's a mobile armor" Me: "It's a FUCKING MOEBIUS" Me: "And those guys over there use a team of THREE Windam equipped with nuclear fucking launcher" Judge: "Sir it was in the rule, put up or exit stage left"

its Ghost Madoka time!!!

there were types of MA's in the real deal universe that only needed a single pilot to operate, i'm not sure why Fumina is only referencing the crewed types, also MS's that had co-pilots, hey! the season one generation had our dynamic duo doing that to a unit that was meant to be piloted by a single person, along with the other players, including the Renato brothers & Yuuki with Allan, the Jamil lookalike with the Gundam X Divider had two co-pilots, how does the rules affect differently when you're in a team battle compared to the standard single unit match?

By limiting maximum member of team (three persons) and MA usage;
Without doubt, the team will considering a lot of things to decide before a match. Looking at how Yuuma 'tweak' Re-Gz into Lightning Gundam, also Sakai's speed build, I won't be surprised if there's skilled builder capable of modifying MA-- Not only those with high destructive power into much more dangerous unit, but also the small and agile one into some deadly supporting unit (weapon carrier, etc). |

I feel like this series really promotes the "Onee-san/Senpai" characteristic especially with Fumina and Mirai lol |

Mirai was meh, sure she's gorgeous and surprisingly proactive, but she's basically Rinko of this season.
Fumina being plain is part of her charm, she doesn't need makeup or dressing to be desirable. She's the main character gundam need.

I wouldn't say Fumina exactly plain, her spandex clothing triggered a lot of people and you could see a ton of new art being made whenever she showed up with different suits. She doesn't have this bishii field that makes everyone swoon like Mirai does but she's pretty good looking, just ask any of the guys in Sekai's classroom
I think she's popular for the same reason why Gyanko is popular. She's not your typical looking anime pretty girl. Whereas Mirai is, which makes her pretty dull in comparison. I hope they keep expanding on Mirai as being a gigantic dolt like everyone else, it would be way more fun this way. |

She's anything but plain. That'd be China in S1.

China and Fumina play to different fetishes. Glasses vs. Spandex.
Well, I think that actually all of the main girls for the past two years are designed for specific fetishes. They're slightly modified versions of common anime archetypes. We've got from the first season 1. The glasses girl who really isn't a socially awkward nerd. 2. The fighter girl with damaged past who doesn't hate everyone. 3. The hot mom who really is only interested with getting it on with her husband. 4. The jaded idol who really loves being an idol. 5. The gentle innkeeper who really is just a gentle innkeeper. Now we've got 1. A spandex girl who's a gunpla otaku. 2. A model onee-san who isn't a Yamato Nadeshiko. |

Regarding Fumina, this brings up the question again...
Is this really a kid's anime?! O.o I am guessing they did this for both younger and older audiences... Fumina has become absurdly popular in a short amount of time, that's for sure OmO |
