I initially thought that because of the original casts not returning, this will suck a bit for me. But it actually not the case, I really enjoyed Sekai and Fumina. Not to mention the beauty Mirai who instantly captivate my eye. After the disappointment that is G Recongista, Try restored my faith back in gundam. 9/10, this and Aldnoah will definitely be the main contender for the mecha of the year.

I normally dislike hot-headed protag, but they done Sekai's character right that I thoroughly enjoyed him.

No doubt on my mind that Try will be the best anime of Fall 2014.

So, I think Jigen Haoh's techniques aren't very lethal techniques and might play into the "Gunpla battle without destroying the gunpla" conflict.

The Seiken Zuki goes through the enemy and destroys the other side, while the Shippu Zuki really didn't do much it seems (though it would've probably blinded Aila).

As for Fumina, it might be because she's a cavalier/skirmisher, whereas GM Cardigan is heavy firepower/heavy defense assault unit. That's why she switched to much lighter Winning Gundam to optimize her style, rather than Winning Gundam being an upgrade.

It makes me think I also want to play the Gunpla Battle using those models.

China and Sei already knows Yuuma lost interest in Gunpla Battle, but they were little relieved that at least Yuuma did not stop building the Gunplas.
However Fumina was feeling sad about how Yuuma does no Gunpla Battle anymore.
Until in this episode Sekai made that difference.

Yuuki Tatsuya = Meijin is as of in this series, 23-25 years old?
I wonder if there is any new controversy concerning the PPSE Works?
And of course protecting the secrets of the particle dispersion leaking out.

I screwed up and clicked 9 instead of 10 (well Im actually rating the EP 9.5, but theres no option for that)

Not much to say about the episode that has not been said already, all the old stuff from the first series still apply

For those who ask: Why hide the gunpla in a Dom?

The Dom is a rather large and bulky unit, pretty easy to hide slender gundam without anything else inside. Of course though one can always question Sei's choice of how to hide the gunpla lol

Hmmmm Sei definitely left that behind for Reiji I bet. Though I think it would have been easier if he had just left it in Ral or his parents care...........

HA I CALLED IT, THE MANTIS GUY DID USE A FREAKING ENACT HAHAHAHAHAHAH

That first episode, fine you got me I'll watch the whole new season.....

I liked the first season, but kinda didn't, I don't know. I felt really wishy-washy about the first season, but this second season is off to a good start

Worth noting that its indicated that depending on what grade they were in (since it took a year to re-create the Platvsky Partcile), neither Sei nor Tatsuya may have won the next World Tournament.

Well given his personality in the show, he would never do that, he would only bring the bare minimum to the fight. Imagine scratch building an Agrissa only to have it wrecked within a few minutes -shudder-

I'll be honest, there's no need for a Meijin to enter tournament at all

Chairman did it to spike the sales, not to mention the absolutely retarded seeding. He's a clever businessman, but I can't help to be disappointed with the matchup.

The gundam G reference just got me lol. I mean Sekai found his sister faster than Domon could.

And yes, this "show A is better than show b" is ticking me already. I find it immature and trollish.

Still wondering if the Burning is gonna get any upgrades like the Strike?

Hard to think of upgrades to a suit that can deflect lasers, and generate actual wind during its first appearance.
