Actually Touma did call Mikoto "Biribiri" once if I recall correctly, back in season 1 episode 21(?) (it was the episode immediately following Last Order's arc), the scene where she runs past him and he recognizes her by her shorts......

Well, if you're going to do this, you might as well add a 'nya' or some fake Kansai accent.

Anyway, for those looking for Awaki again, don't expect her to come back this season.

( O_O) Oh! I forgot about Tsuchimikado...
Then again, ~nya isn't exactly unique or special (used for cat-mimicing, etc.) and hasn't really left any impression, and really speaking in some fake Japanese Kansai accent is difficult to do in English (adding something at the end = easy, changing basic speech = Ueh...).

Awaki?
I'm surprised she didn't die from her travel in the sky.

The fight scene was done real nicely, both Touma and Accel got their cool moments to shine, and the overall episode was pretty intense. I gotta say that this has got to be the only series where domestic violence isn't immediately brought to one's mind despite some of the abuse these famale antagonists take directly to the face.

I know right? In most shounen series, villainess are usually pair with heroines in the fight scenes.

Mah, toaru is not you would call conventional...

Oh yes, I forgot. That tongue twister is anime-original. Not a bad one though.

It's already told, but I guess it was primarily the 'Touma-Kuroko' talk and how it's implied that Touma/Index, Kuroko/Misaka and Accelerator/LO were just... several meters away from each other, separated by just the walls of the hospital.

Some other things are mild adaption changes. Like it was actually Misaka who slapped Touma when he came in and saw Kuroko changing, but that became unnecessary since the slap was just a build-up to a talk where Kuroko jokes that 'guys prefer girls who are more domesticated' and Misaka actually took that seriously.

Most of the things really didn't matter, as a whole, as both an adaption and an anime episode, it's well done.

I suppose it's a form of fanservice for those who came to love that nick?
Exactly, which is why I was saddened by the fact that Index's director forgoes the 'subtlety' behind that nickname, and chose to have Touma use it casually, both pre- and post-memory loss.

It's a small issue, since the novel and anime have their own stuff. ( Index S1 had Touma saying Biribiri too )

All right. Done with the episode. Honestly, this is not my favorite arc that has ever existed, but I'm easy to please, thankfully Touma comes to save the day... but didn't get to punch Awaki, and then she gets a Vectorful of Accelerator instead. Poor Awaki, if it had been Touma instead, ... on a second thought, no, let's not have that happen after all the things that have transpired so far now.

This time I guess I'll make good use of Twitter for... uh, my usual "drill." Please excuse me.

Spoiler for Twoooooooo~:

... Repeating myself... Ep 7 made me feel so damn good, I'm waiting for the next. Especially on a certain "fanservice incarnate." Heh.

Yeah, but I'm wondering which part of my comment you're referring to.

Oh, that. It would've been funny if Awaki fell to the "effects" of Imagine Breaker, but let's keep that thoughts in our minds and settle for a crack fic instead for the rest of the lulz. Else I might get overdosed thanks to a fanart which reminds me of

Spoiler for Uh:

"Fighting fanservice," huh... Not sure if I understand that.
