Yes it is , there is a very similar Chad picture it was Bleach afterall not any other anime ... yes the smug : D

I think those designs are for movie characters, remember Gin wasn't a captain yet durring that time frame and it looks like there is a big spread of Hitsugaya on the next page. and why would the anime introduce a new captain and vice captain, this is even more so given it all ready has a VC, before the manga?

We have a new anime orignal arc and I think its a long one . Kagato3 its not an ex Taicho but new one designed by Kubotite for this arc .

- So Amagai Shuusuke is captain and Kifune Makoto is 3rd Seat of the 3rd division. I also found this, see below. Ichigo and the others back in real world?!

- I have excluded Amagai and Kifune's description, just the other new characters appearing in Bleach. I'm not sure if I translate the names and descriptions right, someone let me know if there's any problem.

- Kasumioji Rurichiyo(?) (princess hailing from Kasumioji(?) family, one of Soul Society's elite nobles. Has a selfish character, moves into Ichigo's school as a transfer student. Mr Kubo's design).

- Inuryu(?) (Rurichiyo's servant, takes a high-handed attitude to Ichigo and the others. Mr Kubo's design).

- Saruryu(?) (Rurichiyo's servant, follows his mistress to real world. A silent character. Mr Kubo's design)

You know they never did address how Soul Society was going to replace the three traitor captains. I always assumed it would be Renji and Ikkaku to step up......but it would be great to see entirely new captains as well. It would also make the filler seem fresh to base it around these new characters. Much preferable to characters already overexposed in filler (Hitseguya) or those that people know will vanish/become irrelevant eventually (the Bounto, the mod Souls).

Lets assume hypothetically that Renji and Ikaku are indeed made captains that leaves one spot still open . Amagai Shuusuke fits in perfectly taking that spot .....

More than 3rd div I am excited about Kasumioji Rurichiyo she is like my ideal women a female version of Byakuya .... tsundere

Also that other important thing how are they going to make a transition from HM Time line to Anime original Time line ?

cool, amagai looks a bit like aizen mixed with sandal hats. though i wonder how they will edit him out at the end of the arc. you cant just kill captains off that easily.

Maybe he won't be edited out.

I would actually be all for them not editing him out. It would be cool if Kubo actually adds him in the Manga later on to show that he is working closely with the anime.

It's more of "Kibune Makoto" than Kifune.
Back on topic, I wonder he will be an anime-only character or that he will appear in the manga as well.

He might just be in the manga too then. Kubo made him, so he might be only anime original for a short time. That would be a nice change.

So you think they are going to animate up to where 313 is then go to this filler arc? That's the only logical way they can do this without totally ruining bleach and having me slaughter the entire production crew, animators and broadcasting company...

If he was a replacement captain, why would he have a long-sleeved robe? Don't only senior captains get long sleeves?

Thats a fan made observation there is nothing concrete to support it . It was one of the wiki author's observation to be specific

Heres exactly how these anime characters could be added to manga. We are at a point now where we know the 3 captains have not been replaced yet. We have not seen anything thats been going on in SS since Orihime was captured so the best place to add them in the manga would now. I know theres gonna be some scenes showing SS because the Bureau Of Technology alarms will go off once they enter the real world. If they get added then and the original anime goes off as its supposed to then the anime and manga can still in a way be tied to each other exactly as they should.
