I would have been fine with something like that if it wasn't built up over a couple of chapters as a huge deal. It's one thing to have a joke like that at the end of a chapter, but after all the crap that happened, it just makes Yoshizawa look like an idiot. Now, even when a serious confession does come along, I won't be able to take it seriously at all, because I'll just be expecting another author troll.

The date chapter was good. Not a fan of the sister, though. We have enough annoying, manipulative tsunderes in the series already. We don't need yet another character with the same generic personality type.

I really liked chapter 26. Yoshizawa is starting to come into her own. It took her a while, but she's been pretty good lately. 27 was okay. Want to see more of Yoshizawa's sister before I form an an opinion on her. For some weird reason, she reminded me of Chiaki from Ane Doki when I read it. I know it's a weird comparison, but for some reason that's who came to mind.

I haven't been reading this series for a while and finally caught up on it last night. I really like the characters and situations. Funny, not insanely over the top. Even the wish granting through "going too far" managed to work without becoming totally farcical like a ToLoveRu chapter might have.
Yoshizawa really is coming into her own in these chapters and I find that the other characters are falling to the side. Even Meiko seems to be standing back... the angels and demons have nothing to do as Kouta pretty much is making all of the steps towards Yoshizawa himself. For her part, Yoshizawa is being truer to her own feelings and you can see beyond the surface in her expressions. Some of the better ones with her bangs in her eyes, blushing are real art and she's never looked better in the series. I'm really beginning to like this story more and more as it goes on. |

I still don't see what she likes about Kouta. He's your typical bland, idiotic, weak-willed ShoRom protagonist, but he doesn't even have the "nice guy" thing going for him. He's selfish, at times mean... Can't stand the guy.

have to agree. there was so many better ways to get out of that situation. But it seems like he gets carried by the flow, and cant escape it though the sensible route. |
