In DGM, the kanji used for Mugen means "6 illusions". However, Mugen (with different kanji) can mean "limitless".

But i wonder how long DGM will go on ..i really want to see Lavi , Kanda, Krory, Lenalee and Allen as General i bet Krory will be able to do bloody krory when he wants to and be the strongest like Sokaro XD
But i really hope they make an timeskip XD

Hence why it's safe to assume there are 3 more Illusions... However, if the 3rd Illusion is already draining his life force, I can't imagine how much more hardcore the other 3 would be...

Sorry man, the only reason why I would approve of a time skip is to get Long-hair Lenalee back!!!

But I think it would be more fun if the manga-ka drew her slowly growing back.

Well, to put things in perspective:

1) When Bleach was at chapter 162, Ichigo just revealed his bankai.
2) When Naruto '' '' , Tsunade is meeting Orochimaru to discuss his "hands" issue.
3) When One Piece was at chapter 162, the Alabasta arc is just beginning.

As long as it has its regular fanbase, DGM can go far.

As for Mugen's further illusions, I believe that given 3rd Illusion's damage to Kanda himself, he might want to start linking with his Innocence (This reminds me of Bleach, where the shinigami talk to their swords.).

Naruto was a bit draggy during the 200-300+ chapters area, but now with the twist, things are finally look interesting.

Ditto for Bleach. The vizards' backstories are being done. So, things will start to get a bit interesting. Oh, and Espada No.4 vs Ichigo.... AGAIN.

I like all three, but sorry I don't think that DGM is that much different from Bleach and Naruto. In my opinion of course.

Bleach was a nice shounen... but the "lets go to rescue the princess in distress" become boring... Gray man still dont reach than point, and i hope that it never happend because it would be very very sad.

My thoughts exactly; I can't comment on either Naruto or One Piece cause I haven't been keeping up with the latest, but I agree that "lets go to rescue the princess in distress" (AGAIN) Isn't the best thing to happen. Actually, it's not the general idea that disturbs me, but rather how similar the entire set up is to the Soul Society arc =_=


In any case, other than D.Gray-man, the only other Shounen series that I'm really into now is Soul Eater, and perhaps Fulmetal Alchemist.

Yes, Full Metal Alchemist, Soul Eater and some other shounen mixed with other genre are in my opinion the best.. i mean, the ones that have a multi -dimensional plot and not one so repetitive.

But lets go back to the manga. Dont you think that the ark arc was just... mmm, to spend some time before getting in the real thing?

Nobody really die, not noahs, not exorcist, it works juts to give some background to some characters and to reveal the musician thing... but more that that, it wasn't so important.

And this little breaks that Hoshiro sama is taking... for investigate ... i have the feeling that something really great its waiting for us

The Ark arc is the buildup, I'll agree. In fact, the Earl has kept his plans in flux according to the situation.

Ok, I think our Earl-tama is going senile. When Allen destroyed the first Egg, he was hopping mad. Yet later, during tea with Tyki, Cyril and Road, he noted that the new Egg is coming up nicely. Kinda makes you wonder if Hoshino did a retcon on us.

Also, remember that he WANTED the first ark to be destroyed, since it was "tainted". And with Tyki receiving his power-up from Allen, I'll say that the Earl gained something from the Ark arc. Also, the Noah realised for themselves that Innocence is indeed a monster. They'll be more willing to strike hard and fast the next time. No games allowed.

What happened was that Allen stole the white Ark, along with 80% of the egg, that was what the Earl was pissed at.

With the remaining 20%, he's reconstructing a new egg.

He was pissed at the fact that it would take a long time to rebuild it. Yet, during the tea time, he gives the impression that it wouldn't be long before it's done. Hence, Cyril's plan to start the war in his capacity as a diplomat.

For all we know, from the time of the Ark to then, it had been a few days... Or even weeks.

I won't say that it stretches that long, unless of course it took Komui that long to decide to shift main HQ out of the old castle.

What seemed to be certain is that this time, the Earl is really serious. (By not revealing his human face to us, Hoshino-san seems to hint that the Earl and Allen will meet again, and that Allen will have this strange feeling that the gentleman before him is not what he appears to be.)
