The scene with Cao Cao and the others apologizing to the Kyoto leaders was nice. Issei putting a word in for them without pressuring the leaders shows some maturity on his part.

That scene was just him realizing how much Rias supports him as his "legal wife".

Considering they basically just announced their engagement it's not something he's used to yet.

It's not about being engaged but that he should know Rias all too well by this point. Rias has practically known everything about Issei before they got engaged so you would think it would be vice versa because Rias is his number 1.

No, the line was specifically in reference to the fact that Rias saw through Issei while Issei thought he was being smooth with the gifts.

I mean he kinda was being smooth, but Rias is now operating I legal wife mode so she's paying more attention to what's going on with the other girls.

Rias was teasing him for trying to be sneaky, that's all.

Dimension Lost is really hacked if you think about it.

So It's unanimous among them that the barrier around Kuoh town is essentially useless.

I don't think the kuoh barrier is so useless, if it were that it prevents the city from disappearing from the map? ... because if it were then the dxd antagonists are idiots who go through complicated plans instead of simple destruction .
So that's why I think it's not so useless.

pd: dimension lost seems weak to me to be a longinus of higher rank.

At the same time you'd think people would eventually figure out that everyone who gets past it ends up dead or converted to the other side.

The powerful enemies break through it all the time. It's supposed to prevent enemies from invading the town. It has failed in its purpose every single time a major enemy pops up.

Well Dimension Lost isn't a Longinus used for combat purposes which is why it might seem that way to you. But just looking at what It's capable of, It's a really powerful Longings that deserves to be called high-tier.
