I'm sure he will. And I hope so too - JAC group will probably translate it too, hopefully. It won't be nearly as quick though, since before they already had all the chapters.

I wonder what will happen in season 2, only thing I know about season 2 is that its takes place 3 years later... I wonder who is with who. Because i was routing for Aoi Asada and Fujimaru Takagi.

OMG two things I realized while reading this entire series in one day. I forgot the first one, but Aoi was the 11th child, which means there's another secret child. And a question I have for this series is, why did they make everything like Christianity? Honestly, these things are kinda getting lame, with Simon looking like Jesus and etc. Also, I swear they copied the names from Death Note. Names like J, K ...

Because Christianity puts more emphasis on divine retribution, salvation from above and a preordained worldwide event known as Armageddon preceded by the return of a flesh-and-bone Savior? The elements for a plot are all there and might not be as compelling as, say, that of Shinto, Hinduism and Buddhism, which, as far as I know (which, I must concede, means, vaguely) do not contain such events or characteristics. It's just more plausible to make the sect a Christian one rather than any of the above. The terrain's already prepared.

Furthermore, while they most likely took it as a direct source of inspiration (if not a clear reference), I think the authors wanted to distance themselves from the real-life Aum Shinrikyo movement, so as to make Bloody Monday a more novel story rather than a mere copy-paste of a familiar story than can be, later on, lambasted as an overtly anti-Aum manga...or hurt people who have lost someone in the sarin gas attacks. It must also help that Christianity is a minor religion in Japan, meaning that any sub-division or bastardization thereof is more likely to pass off as a sect than an offshoot of the many, major religious currents they are more familiar with. Unfamiliarity or vague knowledge is a free ticket to plausability in the mind of the audience - we shouldn't dismiss that, as offending or simplistic as it might sound.

Last but not least, many assets seized by Kamishima's followers come from Russia (he does have Russian blood, after all)...whose population is mostly Christian Orthodox. So I guess he does have a huge fanbase there, too. And that's not a negligible point for his plans.

lol, you know Simon was a pimp? He had kids with 12 "superior" genetics women. I guess Jesus has superior genes. And I guess at that time, J's mom was married to archer's dad. I guess the old saying comes into play here. If you could cheat with anyone, wouldn't you cheat with Jesus.

Spoiler: - Takagi seems to have given up on computers and hacking, due to the emotional burden caused by the previous BM affair. He now has a baito at a café, with his sister. - The other members of the cast, Otoya and Aoi, also show up. - In the meantime, a 747 is hijacked by two individuals (one male and one female who even used a toddler to get on board without arousing suspicions) using some sort of chemical/sleeping gas pistols. - Otoya's grandfather and Third-I are notified (seems they got a change in the hierarchy) and we get to see one of the operators, Sawakita, who's still mourning her colleague's death (Kudou - the guy who accompanied Takagi to retrieve the vaccine and got shot by Maya). - Faithful to the series' main theme, they're up against another shady organization, possibly a religious one (translation still pending - the org's symbol is some sort of intricate cross with two crossed arrows on top). - They eventually come to the decision to bring Takagi back as a coordinator/overseer/commander. They send Minami to escort him to HQ, but, weighed down by painful memories, he relents. - A passenger attempts to subdue one of the hijackers but fails. - Ha. I mean, what are the odds of having both Ryuunosuke and Kanou, respectively as a hijacker and as a pilot, aboard the same airplane, at the same moment? As for the lack of information...isn't it often said that in order to fool your enemies, you must be able to fool your own friends first? As for Takagi, I'm not sure what to make of his behavior. The first chapter suggests that he is genuinely reticent to approach computers, but the way he reacted to Minami's info and the last frame both imply he knows more than he lets on. Which brings a tricky question: how would he be able to about Third-I's most secretive missions and data if he's retired and unwilling to use PCs again? My guess is that his dad let him in the know and gave a forewarning about possible (and less than pleasant) enquiries from the state, but that might be against established protocols such as OPSEC and whatnot. *KA-BUMP* Spoiler for Chapter 3: Heh. What did I say? We got things right but the deception runs even deeper than that - everything until now was a sham, including Takagi's supposed new aversion to hacking. He's still a solid player in the field and he's even ready to prove his mettle. Thing is, the situation on the 747 is deteriorating. Kirishima, Kanou and the guy who got a whiff of (supposedly) VX gas (seems that the canister was switched at one point and he only breathed inoffensive gas) manage to get the passengers to calm down...but what the female hijacker left in the cockpit was definitely not inert gas or whatnot - and as the bottle releases its contents (thus killing the guy who was apparently offed in the first chapter - this time for good), the cockpit gets sealed and the only way left to seize control of the wayward aircraft is through the autopilot block. And thus enters Takagi, whose (secret) assistant is the guy from Season 1, whose fiancée was killed in the Third-I HQ outbreak...and now sports a God-awful afro. ... Now, one thing I wonder about...was he truly lying to his friends or were they in the know when he feigned reluctance to touch his boss' laptop? __________________ << -- Click to enter my (dead) GFX thread. He maneuvered himself into a nice catch-22... Anyway, the mother of all bullets has been dodged thanks to Fujimaru's quick wit, as he appears to have hijacked the TV broadcast signal to get through to the 747 and have it pull out of its nosedive. Aside from that, Otoya is in the know, judging by the conversation he held with Fujimaru on the phone...before bringing a significantly pissed-off Minami to see the two Third-I members. __________________ << -- Click to enter my (dead) GFX thread.
