Though not certain those were his exact thoughts since he pulled in pretty close with the expression "back off, or die."Even if one knows she is acting she is just so good you'll react regardless.

Well I think Lawrenece knew she was faking but he's a typical guy^^ Women always use this ploy to get under the skin of a target male they may be upset with or want to tease and 9 times out of 10 the guy knows this but falls for it and acts this way none-the-less. Its the sad and yet funny trugh of life^^ The real sucker is Lawrences friend who thinks he may score lol

Personally one of the most enjoyable parts was with the apples. Horo pining for them, keeping Lawrence from getting any, then basking in victory after eating them all. Good times .

You know I was never into girls with cats, dogs, foxes, rabbits, bats, or any kind of mixture but Horo is just cute this episode. This show is starting to get more interesting, and I'm hoping it will continue to be as such. 9/10

^ Wow, someone who agrees with me! I don't feel it's "smart" to trick a customer either. Somehow, I feel Horo got away with her salesmanship a little bit too lightly, but then again, that's not the point of the show really, so I think it's probably ok to let it slide. Furthermore, as someone else has pointed out, maybe the merchant will figure out how to scent furs in the future, to add value to the product. In which case, we can praise Horo for starting a new fashion trend.
As for the currency devaluation, I have my guesses, but I'll need more evidence before I can be certain. Besides, my guesses will probably not tally with how things actually turned out in the novel. |
