Ok Obviously he/she is wearing a body suit. I voted that it is a woman. The reason I believe this is if you look at her shoulders and her arms they are feminine. By that I mean the size comparison between the two and the softness of her shoulders. Men don't usually have that soft rounded look and her forearms and wrists are dainty. I do not think a body suit no matter how good can add that femininity to their body shape. These are just my thoughts.

Well, after a lot of research on the subject of Sabrina's true gender, I've come across some rather startling evidence. Let us take a look at exhibit A:

As you can easily see, the person in the Sabrina suit definitely has a female figure. Unless Sabrina was designed by the infamous director Obari Masami, there is no way a guy (to my knowledge, anyway) could get hips like that.

Rather impressive evidence, isn't it? Well, the true shocker has yet to come. All one needs to do is take a single glance at the next picture to find out what could possibly be the truth! Don't take my word for it; just look at exhibit B!

Of course it could also be six packs. But even if one of the hypothesis is correct, I don't ever want to meet him even if he is a girl (ripcage vs sixpack on a girl...) .

I agree, in fact I pointed that out in the first page of this thread. It does have girly hips. But so what? It also has a manly abdomen, that doesn't prove anything. There are girls that are flat chested, and there are guys that have wider hips. I don't think that this creature has a "female figure"; it only has female-looking legs/hips (and also a manly chest area).

I'm not going to research this on google, all the information I need has already been given to explain the body suit tradition: the majority of people who do kigurumi are males. This particular one might not be, and you're right in that this fact that it uses a body suit doesn't necessarily prove its gender. And yes, it is how they try to achieve the look; the majority, who are males, surely would not succeed in achieving the look with rough skin and body hair

I'm impressed...The ambiguity built into this creature's gender sure is masterful.

I *know* what the people in this thread (along with the good people who do anime for a living) are trying to imply. But as a male living with a bunch of females, I must say I am not impressed. The authors/producers in this industry probably don't have any sister.

Girls, like guys, also need tissue. No, not for sexual purpose, but for the fact that

1. girls do catch cold like guys
2. girls do eat in front of their computer for convenient

If you can't ever figure out why guys are suppose to need tissue with them, think sexual activity..with only one person.

the person would conceal themselves even if they are a girl so that people wouldn't know their true identity. It's probably a fetish, and they would be humiliated if people they knew found out. While I agree that males can move femininly if they want to, that just looks too natural to be male. Also, perhaps your the one being fooled?

You fail to notice the fact that I already admitted the possibility of this being a girl, after stating what you quoted. Girls might conceal themselves as well for the sake of consistency, since the majority who are male, do so, surely at least partially to conceal their gender. So the logic still applies to most kugurumi people in general, if not for this one case in particular.

I've heard there are cosplay porn that use these masks as well, pretty creepy actually :P

Come on, girls almost always have tissues nearby. Any place I've ever worked, the only place to find a tissue is in a woman's office or cubicle.

The lines on the monitor are a result of the video camera. The person sitting there can't see them. You've never seen a video footage of a monitor? They fake the images on TV specifically for that reason. Watch a commercial selling computers or something. There is usually a disclaimer saying that the images are simulated. In the US, anyway, I don't know where you are.


This person is damn skinny. Hell yes you'd see ribs. The lines in boneyjellyfish's pic look more like the edges of the body suit parts. It looks like they are wearing seperate bottoms and a top.
