Any Australians or New Zealanders out there, Animelab has the mini-live available to watch.
https://www.animelab.com/shows/love-...-special-event Humming Friend and Mattete Ai no Uta being performed just made me hyped for their first live.

On a related note, the mini-live is also available to watch worldwide via YouTube or your local anime streaming service. Of particular note, it looks like the mini-live will be available to stream for only a strictly limited time (until Jan 3 23:59 JST to be exact): Two small details about that single were actually announced during the mini-live itself:

Watched the mini-live a while ago. It reminded me of something I've been curious about for some time.
They really can dance and sing live on stage these days? I remember it was a scandal back in the 90's when it was exposed that performers couldn't actually do both at the same time on stage. |

Thoughts on Thrilling One Way: Is this the hardest Rock song that the franchise has committed itself to yet in either generation of Love Live, Strawberry Trapper possibly excepting?
In Episode 12, Aqours committed themselves to differentiate themselves from Muse. With Thrilling One Way, I think we've got a clear answer just how Aqours means to do it. I wouldn't be surprised if Thrilling One Way will be one of the insert songs of the second season, one of the fruits of Aqours determination to walk their own path. And that Chika scream at the beginning! I'd like to see Aqours try a full blown Metal piece with Chika screaming serving as the opening. |

Then again, that's only a preview of TOW, so I wouldn't be surprised if they're saving the really heavy stuff for the full version. That said, TOW is definitely heavier than "Strawberry Trapper", which has more of a bluesy Guns-N-Roses vibe. --EDIT-- Oh, wait, Nozomi's "Loveless World" also carries out that 80s classic metal vibe quite well too.

Not a problem at all. In fact, I was just listening to ASN again, and I'm also picking up vibes of 80s Metallica in the intro as well. The moment I stumbled upon the song in an event when I first started playing LLSIF was the moment I knew I was hooked.
The fact that the songwriters are willing to incorporate plenty of musical influences into the songs is one of the reasons why I love the Love Live franchise in general.
