I'm pretty much fine with anyone if they cut the tpp, tisa and ttip deals.
So I pretty much am for sen-b.sanders. Would have been happier if Hillary made a clear stance in this TPP matter. The polls might go up and down depending on how each party handles it but the problem is, the deal is still a secret. And why daquq do is TRUMP leading the 2016 republican primaries?????? He's an entertainer not a politician. Last edited by TheCatWalk; 2015-10-07 at 05:40. |

Name recognition is a big thing in popularity and politics. Everyone knows Trump.
Recall the Recall election in California last decade and that Arnold won easily and was reelected. The Govenator was what we wanted and what we got. Though to tell the truth, if he hadn't stepped into the race, I would have voted for Gallagher. If the state was going to be a laughing stock of the country, might as well have a comedian running the place.

Trump is on the liberal side of Republican so he's pretty much better than most of their candidates already.
But there isn't really much the president can do in this time I feel. With all the gerrymandering, any anti-establishment president will have a hard time doing much things. And I'm pretty sick of the establishment. |

I just don't think Trump is cut out to be a president. I think he is running more for his ego and stature. I don't think he realizes what would be demanded of him to be a leader of this country, and I really don't think he can deliver on what it takes, either.

Ben Carson believes the earth 6000 years old. Either he is lying (then he is just pandering) or really believes it which makes him a religious zealot.

The way I see it, he has been basically saying everything that his audiences want to hear. So once he won the nomination, he may flip flop on some key points to gain back general audiences. Felt like if he actually become president, he will be a bit more on figure head style. Have people who know better than him making decisions for him, and only spend more time claiming the credits and blame the failure on others On the positive side, US won't have a typical politician for president. Instead, you guys will have a typical asshole boss as your president.

I really wish the GOP would have a platform beyond "Democrats are poopyheads. And Communist." Well they say socialist, but it's about 5 letters too long for them to understand the meaning, much less compare the difference of definition. Well, there's also the wording trick in order to return Americans to the Good Ol' Days where people treated each other like decent human beings, well as long as you were white, heterosexual, and born a male that believed in the correct God.
It's been 8 years. Around that time, I thought trolling smug liberals by calling them socialists was sorta fun, but it's really gotten old hat, and for it to be used as legitimate discourse is plain laughable.

Trump doesn't need to flip-flop to the center after winning the primaries, because the Far Right statements were impossibilities to begin with. No one is remotely worried that Trump would actually generate a mass exodus of undocumented workers, or build a new Great Wall. Trump can say crazy things knowing it was never on the cards, and he still wins the Primary. On the other hand if a candidate promote Far Right policies that are actually feasible to do, that would have caused moderates and independents to get scared.
