Okay, quick unofficial poll. Given that OPM is far too epic to not have that most epic of anime voices involved in it, if you were casting Norio Wakamoto for the OPM anime, who would you cast him as? King? Licenseless Rider?

The hardest choice for VA is Saitama himself. His "relaxed" mode reminds me of Gintoki, so Sugita Tomokazu might be a decent choice. Don't know if he can pull off his "heroic" mode, though.

Vaccine Man should be voiced by Toshio Furukawa. He's clearly designed after Piccolo, after all.

I don't know about Wakamoto as Puripuri Prisoner... Isn't he disturbing enough in print?

As for Sugita as Saitama, while I have little doubt he could do it, he's just got too distinctive a voice. Saitama should sound average and forgettable. He'd make a great straight man as Genos, though.

What about the voices for some of the other characters? Tatsumaki? Fubuki? Handsomely Masked Sweet Mask? King (my suggestion for Wakamoto)? Licenseless Rider?

Seki Tomokazu seems born for Licenseless Rider - practically a copy of Sekiman from Rabuge.
Miyano Mamoru or Tamura Atsushi as Handsomely Masked Sweet Mask.
Kitta Izumi as Supersonic Sonic
Kugimiya Rie as Tornado of Terror

Most popular choices are Tomokazu Seki, Tomokazu Sugita, Masaya Onosaka, Keiko Toda (although this one more Anpanman joke than a suggestion, I guess), "Please not Yuki Kaji or Yoshitsugu Matsuoka" and "This one is difficult. I have no idea".
And there's also random suggestions like Ryoutaro Okiayu and Kappei Yamaguchi.

Agreed on all but Sonic. Like it or not, he's a man. Just because he's built like a ten-year-old girl doesn't mean he should sound like one. Personally I think he should have a deeper voice than Saitama. That doesn't preclude a female voice actor, of course. Someone like Romi Park would be ideal, in fact.

I can see Kappei Yamaguchi. He'd fit well with the inherent "throwback" feel of the series.

Don't forget page 25 from chapter 15. After that he can legitimately sound like a girl.

Fubuki can be played equally well by any female seiyu without special quirks.

And King is The Hardest Choice of VA. His inner dialog is full of "scared shitless" whining, but on the outside he should sound absolutely terrifying, scaring the strongest monsters away. Maybe two different seiyu for him?

Another good choice for PriPriPrisoner is Imamura Norio.

This year's 17th issue of Sheisha's Young Jump magazine is reporting on Thursday Makoto Furukawa and Kaito Ishikawa will play the protagonist Saitama and Genos, respectively, in the One Piece Man television anime.

Shingo Natsume (Space Dandy, Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos) is directing the anime at Mad House (Summer Wars, Hunter x Hunter). Tomohiro Suzuki (Tiger and Bunny scripts, Saint Seiya: Legend of Sanctuary) is in charge of the series scripts, and Chikashi Kubota (From the New World, Robotics;Notes) is designing the characters.

Ishikawa is perfect choice for Genos, while Furukawa is almost uknown, which is actually a good thing as well. - his voice will be more uniuque.
Also, rememebr - Megumi Han was unknown before Hunter x Hunter, for example.
