Judging from the last Q&As, his relationship with his imouto is "troublesome" to put it lightly. She goes as far as hiding ONE shoe of his when she gets angry.

Minori can't sit down and explain tactics 101 to her party even when they are camping in a safe zone...huh. I get that she'd have trouble doing it while they're running around, but that part after Touya shut the door would have been the best time to answer Rudie's questions.

Anyways, the landers want to get their hands on naval tech, Krusty is probably having the time of his life and Shiroe is...well, conveniently cast aside in a generic council until...wild magician appears!

Can't wait for ep.14...

Crusty and Reynesia's interaction is so cute! and the voicing of the seiyu actually helps to make it more adorable! I'm really liking this adaptation minus the crappy animation.

Re-gun's entrance is badass. the plants wither and he just teleports out of no where.

I am reminded of the Defilers in Dark Sun.

I'm guessing his magic revolves around Dark/Void, which would explain why his teleportation would kill off the surrounding plants.

Maybe he added dramatic effect to standart teleportation to make good first impression.

His interactions with the princess are not automatically romantic. They just have a degree of familiarity, because he is used to dealing with a person like her. It is entirely possible that he may never see his little sister again. Finding someone who reminds him so much of her is like a touchstone back to something he had lost.

And yes, it is possible that romance may happen between these two, because the princess is not Krusty's sister, after all. But his behaviors with her so far do not have to have any romantic basis. It is simply our automatic assumption that they do that colors our impressions.

Or time magic, as plant withers and ages rapidly. Not affecting adventurers as their levels are too high.

Agreed. When he talked about his imouto, it reminds me or Touya and Sakura Kinomoto form CCS, and of course the author and his imouto.

I like the contrast. Shiroe is /awesome/ at long-term strategy, but Crusty is his equal in short-term tactics. Which fits, as Crusty has likely led large-scale raids himself, he's just not on Shiroe's level in long-term ramifications.

The way I see them:

Shiroe: Xanatos-Gambit
Krusty: Xanatos Speed Chess

Shiroe's plan takes more time to take into account of every scenario and has Plan A to ZZ for every possible situation.

Krusty's plan doesn't take time to prepare for every possible situation but he can improvise as event unfold.

They are both equal overall.

Maybe it's the mana drain. Bending time and space to teleport costs magic. Magic requires mana. Landers don't have as big a mana pool as Adventurers, so he drained the surrounding mana for his punch a hole in reality, which drained the flowers of theirs.

It could always just Lee-Gan's way of making an impressive entry because we all know that anyone could use a moment of awesome in their lives, even if it's just a silly waste of mana =3. The funniest thing imho is that we have seen him walking around in the castle in the previous episode, so he could have just drop by in a more normal manner with his "I come in peace, so don't shoot me" =3

Or it could be that he really sucks in transportation magic

Well, you have to remember that from his point of view he's talking to a mage of a caliber he will never be able to reach in his lifetime. He probably figured he'd have to do something to at least pique Shiroe's interest if he wanted any chance of a conversation at all.

He puts on a very good first impression of "Mess with me and you could get reincarnated at the Cathedral."which is prob what he wanted to do in the first place since he was already at the castle.

I loved the interaction between Krusty and the princess. Please let there be more.

Watching the newbie party brings nostalgia especially I usually played the tank.

Looks like we will learn the more secrets about the world of Log Horizon.
