Alas, this movie doesn't provide any tease about Avengers: Age of Ultron. I was waiting until the end credit scene ended but only to see the CGI cameo of Howard the Duck.

The movie is surely fun action and good laughter for anyone. Overall, I give this movie verdict: 4/5.

Well, they said until it's 'officially' released there will be no post credits teaser.

Isn't it out on August 1st? they would not include the post-credits until that date, no?

That was known though with what Feige said. We wouldn't get a trailer anytime soon and the Guardians are more connected to Avengers 3 than 2.

You haven't noticed big movies always show on other countries before the US? (More money)

Why would they not include post-credits?

all early screens I've read about have not included it is all. And they would want the larger audience to see it before someone spoils it is my guess.

I don't know anymore than most casual movie goers as I don't watch super often.

You mean the one with the food and drinks being served?
I tried it once, but it ended up being pointless because I can't see the food I am eating and ended up messing up my shirt.

The food is fine by itself. I just feel it distracts from the movie, and as I say eating in the dark isn't my idea of a good time. IMO you are better off just going to a restaurant after the film instead.

Well this was funny.

Cinema Plays Wrong Movie To Guardians Of The Galaxy Crowd

Reminds me of something similar during my childhood.
I went to the cinema to watch RoboCop 3 but they played Jason goes to Hell because they forgot to change the signs and posters they were now playing that movie. I had nightmares after watching that movie.

Anyway, i going to watch the movie. Should i see it in 2D or 3D?

UPDATE:
So i finally saw the movie.
It was the most hilarious space action movie i seen.

Spoiler for Near the End of the film:

Good movie. I'd rank it in the same tier as the first Captain America and Thor movies (ie: above Thor2/IM3, below Avengers/Cap2/IM). Movie was fun from beginning to end, though there wasn't really any scene that I can point to and be like, this was the best scene in the movie.

So, half (more slightly more than half if the sceptre is the mind gem) of the Infinity Stones are now revealed and known. Wonder what form the next one will take.

Japanese VA cast:
Junichi Suwabe - Star Lord
Manami Numakura - Gamora
Tomokazu Sugita - Rocket
Vin Diesel - Groot
Tomokazu Seki - Drax
Mamoru Miyano - Ronan The Accuser
Ami Koshimizu - Nebula

Space Dandy as Peter Quill how very appropriate.

The first movie I'm going to experience 4DX with. I'm not too big of a fan of 3D movies but everyone has been telling me that 4DX makes even bad movies worth watching. So I'm thinking with a good movie like GotG it should be mind blowing.

I really want to hear the Japanese version now, just to imagine Gintoki voicing a raccoon.

To those who have seen it, is the romance big in this? I ask because there was a lot of emphasis in the trailers, and I don't want to waste my money if half of it's sexual tension.

There's some semblance of romance, but it's quite forgettable. The movie mainly sticks to the action and humor, which I like

Also, that I can name all of the songs they played in the movie, oh my 80's... (even though I'm technically a 90's kid ).

Honestly this movie was a ton of fun. It certainly rocketed up to being one of my favorite movies from this summer. We had some good movies so not sure where it firmly ranks, but it's up there. I'm certainly glad that it got that sequel announcement already since I'd really love to see what this group does next.
Spoiler for Movie Thoughts:

Props to Marvel. When this was announced I didn't think it would be very good. Ended up being a really good movie.

Thanks. Action and humor are all I'm asking for from this. Good to hear. Though you're going to make me play the name that song game now.

I actually also like the way they're slowly building up Thanos in the brief scenes he has in the films. Here while Ronan is shown to be ridiculously powerful already with and without the gem he was just about to shit himself with a mere scowl from Thanos.
