If you've been looking closely at the list, there are no fewer than three "couples" that involve inanimate objects, so it should be obvious that the poll is just for fun and not be taken at all seriously.

In any case, we're just now learning about some contradictory claims about Schenberg's plans, and that the Innovators might well be an extension of his will. It's not all that far fetched if his will were to be made manifest in a more tangible form in the future...

As for Marina , there's something that I don't like about her. Maybe that will change in the following episodes.
