Not so prominent? Anime didn't even started and I can already see one aspect that will incredibly suck

In other hand at least one arc seems to be really awesome.

It doesn't just look like. It's just the same color page from the second volume.

AIC's financial issues have been well publicized. The road to recovery won't be easy, but they're still producing outsourced episodes for other studios.

Production IMS is independent, just as how David Production is not a part of Gonzo.

And it's quite strange actually. I know that AIC produced a lot of shows and most of them were medicore in term of sales but they had couple of successful titles later. But judging how they lost Persona and Strike Witches despite their success... And I dunno. Most of the sources state Production IMS as subsidiarity same as AIC Spirits, AIC+ etc.

It's a matter of how much they money spent. Besides the fact that AIC often joined production committees (which means direct investment in many projects), their operation wasn't particularly efficient.

For one, AIC had numerous producers and production managers on payroll. Some people led teams that produced little output, yet probably earned the higher salary associated with the position.

Also, from what I can tell, each production line only delivered two cours of anime per year, whereas large studios are often structured to squeeze three or even four. Perhaps AIC expanded the number of teams too quickly without thinking of efficiency. The extra capacity won them many contracts but may have been a long-term money drain.

Production IMS was created by former AIC Spirits and AIC Classic producers who became independent last year. They looked around the industry a little before taking the leap (selling points are their vast business and animation connections, as well as a low overhead. In direct contrast to AIC, they don't employ any staff except for a team of production coordinators. Everyone else is contracted as needed and released when they've finished their work, which reduces the payroll to 15 people).

On a related note, Spirits, ASTA, Build, etc. were just production lines within AIC and not subsidiaries. With the exception of Plus and Takarazuka, all worked out of the same office.

OK. Thanks for the explanation. Not that I'm a big fan of the studio but I still would be upset if they'll end up same way as Gonzo.

LOL, didn't notice that since I didn't bother to check from the web or PV. Well, it's ANN, they do that sometimes.

Btw, yeah, he did quite a good job, I like his works in Jigoku Shoujo and Seto no Hanayome among others.

As a fan of High School DxD, I'm a bit split about this series. Blame IMS and how it cut a lot of things in the anime adaptation of Date A Live II. Hopefully, they step up their game; it's rather tough to match the hawt scenes in the manga.

this may come as a nice present but in the english dub they actually added each of the BD's from Dxd New so their all embedded in the episodes.
As for this one it should be a decent one depending on how much they cover
