Anime Winamp skins

May be worth reading that thread. You can also search for "winamp skins" to find more threads asking a similar question.

Massive bump, with good reason. I found another site with a huge repository of skins. It has everything from Gundam 00 to Code Geass to Higurashi, even some Naruto and OS-tans. This wo/man is great. Note that the extended skin view-thing is the main window on the bottom and a blank (but clickable, don't touch) equalizer.

Does WMP even have skins? I'm not even sure myself if it does support different skins other than the regular navy blue and white one.

Actually it does have skins but not that many are on the microsoft website besides it's probably more complex to create skins for WMP then it is for winamp

There's no single programme that can create winamp skins since there's two types of skin (classic which is what your probably talking about and freeform (or modern) which requires a lot more knowledge since it uses XML coding) but there's guides to creating either on the winamp site

After doing some searches (mostly google ) and being stuck in hibernation mode for quite a while,
Here's a tip on some winamp skin authoring tools that I found quite useful.

SkinnerToo

This skinning software is mainly for beginners, since it only uses a picture for your background and the buttons are just built in (you can't customize its look but you can customize its color), skinning can be done in less than 5 minutes.
It can create winamp3 and winamp 2.x but no 5

Skinmaster

Although discontinued from being updated, mainly creates themes for winamp 2.x, and you have to zip and rename the zipped folder; Its still a great piece of skinning tool since it gives you much much more freedom than SkinnerToo like individual images per window. I recommend this one for people who want more freedom in their skin.

Skin Master

Now for the truly hardcore skinner this one is for you. Sure it's just another replacement for notepad, notepad++, and/or Editplus, but what makes this different from others is that it is a lot easier to make winamp skins in here than in others. Now I don't recommend this to anybody unless you know xml coding for winamp skins.

Well if you want the simple way just double click the file you've just downloaded and winamp will do the rest (this doesn't apply to skins in the .zip format which will have to be copied to the skins folder in the winamp folder before they'll be usable).
