PS - I checked the seiyu profiles of Yui and MAO on the show's website. From what Japanese I can muster, they really like doing the show. In short, they're in 'cause of the cat.

Heads up: Crunchyroll just released the new episode. There'll be another one on Friday too!

That was a really good one. First time I see a cat finding a little girl in a cardboard box. Thankfully, the little girl was actually Yume and she wasn't abandoned, she was just staying with a kitten until she could find it a home. Yukichi managed to help her with that.

The second part showcase Saku's cool side. It's not outright stated but she apparently used to do judo in her youth, having no trouble subduing a young man. The cashier girl apparently fell for her after seeing this... and it looks like she's accepted Yukichi really is a cat.
This cool side is actually the reason Yukichi stayed with Saku. Turns out he immediately tried to run away when he saw the absolute garbage heap she was living in and was almost crushed by a box, only to be saved by Saku. He started on the path of the masterful cat the next day.

there are some things that yukichi doesn't know about saku, besides the shock he felt useless but still saku was happy that he was worried about her.

I like the cashier, I hope she interacts more with them and now she is thinks that yukuchi is truly a cat.

New episode. Saku saved Yukichi's life, but Yukichi also saved Saku's life. Or her career at the very least. Having him to take extreme care of her allows her to perform at 120% at work.

It turns out episode 8 wasn't the first time Saku rescued another woman. Her coworker (Yuri?) got groped on the train and she caught the guy. She actually wasn't her coworker at the time, and the reason she joined the company was because Saku was there.

Is this going to turn into a yuri harem?

When they heard the police arriving she told Saku that "she and her cat" should leave to avoid trouble. If she thought he was human, she would have probably used "Yukichi-san" to refer to him since she heard his name.

That was so heartwarming and wholesome.

Yukichi and Saku had to spend time apart for the first time, and while it was obvious Saku would have a hard time without him, Yukichi missing her as much as he did was a bit more unexpected. Best part was him purring when he heard Saku's voice over the phone.

This show is criminally underrated.

yukichi can complain about homo-sapiens but without saku, he is lonely and bored. He is not use to laze too much like normal cats.
