Nice to see that they want to trust each other and be a proper group, but they still aren't there yet. This gives the chance to see some character development without the series being too dark.

Karan can do tanking though. She's sturdy and can take even ranged attacks.

-It's true that Karan was great asset, but let's just say long term successful party wasn't exactly goal

-They could kill her, but I assume getting rid of body might be troublesome and she was supposed die to poison, which naturaly happeens when you fight monsters... unlike getting stabbed or something. Either that or they just didn't care whether she lives or dies as they already got what they wanted.

-Kalios is one thing but Karan was never interested in solo adventurer that way, she just followed him as she became foodie and he was sort of foodie senior. She also never intended make contact.

All 4 were "betrayed". All 4 developed coping mechanisms to deal with the betrayal and moved on to an extent. All 4 weren't quite ready to trust others again though... until they met others like them.

Each of them must have some closure of personal crisis. For the girl who lost her inherited stone, she may eventually get it back.

Kind of stupid of her former group, having a loyal tanky dragon in your party would be pretty sweet.

Also completely forgot who the blue haired girl was and was momentarily confused during her scene

Was expecting an edgy revenge fantasy; got a wholesome story of people learning to trust again, complete with feel-good ending song, in a fantasy world.

It's nice to see that Nick and the idol can talk in friendly terms. So far I wouldn't mind her becoming the main love interest, but I don't feel the series is going that way.

If she quits stage performance, I think she can be the supporting character in team combat. Maybe not.

The new member joins the team. He sounds as an old man, but he is actually a sword. Even the sword got betrayed by ningen(human). Then, the team is attacked by T-1000. At least, it is better than fighting a generic robot in JRPG.

On top of that, her backstory is just... what? She was clearly such a big asset that continuing to work with her would have been far more beneficial to them in the long run. If they want to betray her, why not kill her when she was clearly defenseless. Also, she seems to be weak to handsome people, so I can't say getting betrayed in the first place was 0% her fault.
