Ebichu Revisited - Looking for Subbers
Hello all. To be brief, I'm looking for someone with extensive knowledge of the Japanese language and at least a good understanding of English to help subtitle Ebichu (and future projects if you are interested). Thank you and have a great weekend all!

Wanted: Live Action Films Translator
Hi all,
I'm looking for a candidate who'd be willing to translate unlicensed Live Action films on a casual basis for me. Just raw translations should be fine; aside from the odd occasion where I may require editing/line placement assistance, I've just about become accustomed to timing from a translation-only in recent years. Although it probably goes without saying, similar taste in the subject matter would no doubt be beneficial to us both! I'm initially looking towards a handful of pre-Cure Kiyoshi Kurosawa films, then just anything new that takes my fancy, as and when it appears on Japanese DVD sans English subtitles. I'd, of course, supply all the raws to work from (preferrably on DVD-R's, but would gladly convert to AVI's and pop on CD's, if necessary). As it's just a personal hobby really (or fanatic love of Japanese cinema, if you like ), they'd be no deadlines or anything of the sort... Please drop by at dugdale_d@yahoo.co.uk if interested. Many thanks in advance for any responses |

Position(s): translators, editors, timers
Group: N! Project(s): Tenshi Na Konamaiki IRC Channel: rizon Contact: just send me a PM in this forum We have: Editors and timers, but more are always handy. We also do 2d & 3d motion tracking placement, along with cgi and any other type of overlays you can dream of. Looking for: a GOOD translator, or a joint with a group who can share a good translator. The series is hard because there are a lot of jokes which can't be understood w/o a good understanding of the Japanese language. We have all 13 R2 DVDs for the show, and have already done Ep1-16, so we are looking to do 17-50. Goal is to finish it FAST, but also high quality, around august. Perks: 1. Final encodes with amazing edits and flawless timing 2. Huge 100mbit fansub dump to fill your unlicensed anime cravings 3. In case of a joint, depending on the show (nothing crappy) we can provide your group R2 DVD raws for a show of your choosing. Meaning? Meaning, you got a show you've been dying to do, but couldn't afford R2 DVDs for high quality raws, we will buy them for you (in return for tnk help obviously) Last edited by slapstick; 2004-05-10 at 04:20. |

Do you want to work in a subbing group? Did you ever wish that you could help the fansub community, but didn't know how? Now's your chance! Join HinoSubs!
(If you're wondering what our group name means, here's a hint: fire). Our philosophy (according to our timer): "We aim for simple, functional, and generally error-free subs. Don't expect to find any flashy, seizure-inducing effects here." This is a newly formed group. We have a translator, editor, timer, typesetter and QC, but we're always looking for more people! The more the merrier, right? e-mail: kcl822@hotmail.com IRC: #HinoSubs@Zirc.org AIM: kcl822 Or, you can also pm me. Positions: ALL. Potential Project: Tetsujin 28 Gou Please remember that we're looking for dedicated people (for more information on the word "dedicated", please consult a dictionary). BURN!!

Hi
Well I noticed that no one is doing Dai No Daibouken manga scanlation, and if anyone is interested to like edit raws or whatever or like group up hit me up. Yeah I could translate Japanese to English, so editors or any additional translator would be great too!!
Dai no Daibouken was a big hit like Naruto, but it was during mid 90's. Rather than keeping in my boxes, I would love to share with other people by scanlation or whatever. My other full Japanese collection books are City Hunter, Slam Dunk, Bon Bon zaka, Zenki, Yu Yu Hakusho, Hokuto no Ken, Hareluya I and Hareluya II (Boy) .. And most of GTO So yeah if interested email me at sean_conte@hotmail.com (and that's my msn messenger thing too). And sorry for the long post. Sean |
