Looting your enemies is the standard adventurers way in tabletop D&D and Pathfinder. Good to see it implemented here.

I do kinda have to wonder if that weaselly leader guy is dead. Yeah, getting thrown by a giant skeleton knight into a tree should by all rights pulp your bones, but this is anime after all. Most of the kills by Ariane were strangely bloodless, too, which puzzled me a bit after the gory first episode.

I think this is probably case where the world isn't exactly the game but sometimes in future of game setting he played.

Arc didn't know about the choker item but he knew from effect it would be categorized as cursed item that need to be dispelled.
Similar to last episode, he didn't knew it was a Basilisk until it made movement similar to what he knew in-game. He didn't knew Ponta is spirit too which kinda weird considering he's late game player. As Ariane mentioned teleportation is a legendary magic, might be same game setting but hundred or thousand years later.

I was actually kind of surprised that it didn't seem like they actually killed him compared to anyone else. I wonder if they're going to follow up with him or we'll see his fathers' reaction to what happened to him.

Ariane has never trusted anyone other than elves before, but she's going to put her faith in Arc. And he calls her "lady" all classy like, so I think he's a keeper .

Ariane may have defrosted and is much more open with her cute smiles, but Danka (voiced by Takuya Eguchi?) is as stern and serious as she was last episode. It's serious business hunting down kidnapped and imprisoned elf girls .

So Ariane has an older sister named Eevin who is also a warrior and someone who Ariane compares herself too and constantly finds her self lacking. And by elf naming convention her mothers' name is Glenys. I can only imagine her family is as beautiful as Ariane .

Poor Arc can't eat in front of people because of his skeleton condition, but at least he and Ponta can enjoy a good mean between the two of them .

Nothing says "deplorable criminals who must die" quite like forcefully licking the face of an imprisoned young elf girl. Good thing the slavers got their just desserts .

Ariane has some big boob and big butt problems when it comes to entering through a window, but at least the men were gentlemanly enough to not stare, even if they weren't gentlemanly enough to just teleport her in there so she didn't have to make a spectacle of herself .

It turns out they were beaten there and to killing some of the slaves by a furry ninja girl voiced by Miyu Tomita, although she wasn't there to free the elves or help them out, but she does end up giving Arc the location of the elf girls and the source of the slave ring so they can blow this wide open. And it's a certainty that they'll cross paths again .

Who would have thought having Ponta would be Arc's way of proving his good moral character to significant characters .

Arc is already jumping to princess carrying Ariane! Nice. Now it's time to settle things up with these scumbag slavers .

Not that I don't find it somewhat entertaining, mainly due to Arc's personality, but this has been quite repetitive so far.

Its like a standard jrpg scripted encounter and the bandits are lv1 and the party is leveled. What did they think they were gonna do, they have no armor on and just carrying clubs versus a knight in full armor, not even mentioning the other two elves

Uh, because they needed to secure the kidnapped elves first. Blowing the place up first would have killed the elves and getting detected could lead to them getting killed before reaching them.

Those guys in the manor are going to get utterly wrecked. True enough that the only reason they aren't going to die even faster is because hostages need rescuing. Hostages themselves aren't a big deal since Arc can teleport. But still a good idea to focus on the rescuing first and slaughter later.

Ninja girl was cute. I can't blame Arc for having a blast with that realization. Ninja girl with animal ears? Total win. Of course good thing he's OP so he doesn't get killed by these girls attacking first and talking later .

No issue with Danka being both suspicious and fairly stoic to start. Saving their people from a slave ring is a big deal. Can't afford to mess this up.

Ariane remains cute and she's definitely loosened up a bit. Good chuckle from her having to work her way through that window before the guys just teleport inside . Simple bit of fun there, but still appreciated. And this girl understandably shows no mercy when it comes to saving her people. Just roasted those guys alive and pretty sure she's been leading the charge in most of these fights. Motivated and more than capable of getting the job done.

Probably helps that the circumstances were more calm and Ariane was there to smooth things over .

I'd agree it was entirely on the circumstances. Danka isn't going to attack someone in the middle of the city and have the guards called. Even if he could win and/or escape that completely blows a "stealth operation".

And yeah, showing up with Ariane is on a completely different scale than wandering out of a bandit cave that was presumably still holding elven slaves. In a situation like that I'm pretty confident Danka would have either attacked like Ariane did or retreat out of a presumption that Arc was too strong. Either way I doubt he'd be more reasonable .

Well, the explicit content advisory at the beginning finally bears fruit again as we have the piece of @#$% lord Diento sexually assaulting and about to rape two captive elf girls and salivating at the prospect of having his way with them while they're restrained...what a disgusting pig .

I love how Ariane's plan for them to sneak in just gets them caught...and then the guards are fooled by Arc playing statue. I guess he does cut an imposing and regal figure just standing still .

Nothing more satisfying than Ariane kicking Lord Diento straight in the balls and then bashing his butt in! And then leaving him to receive even more punishment from the girls he was about to assault. That's what I call karma .

I'm kind of glad Udolan survived if only to get berated for being a failure and to see Arc put the fear of God into him .

Arc playing off stealing all of Diento's treasures as him trying to make sure they can never start up the elf slave trade again...and Ariane buys it! I guess Ponta helped sell it. And then Arc takes Ariane's money too! I guess heroism really pays. Arc's got to be rich at this point, right ?

Arc and Ariane have been through a lot at this point, and he trusts her enough to reveal his face and go with a true from a certain point of view recounting of his condition. But that doesn't matter to Ariane, and whether Arc can be cured in this world or not, it's no reason for them to not team-up and continue righting wrongs against elves together. And she's even bringing him home .

We've got some royal family intrigue. Dakares is trying to downplay his involvement in Lord Diento's crimes, Sekt seems to be trying to oust his brother so he has no competition for the throne, and Yuriarna just wants peace. It'll be interesting to see how this all ties back into Arc .

Arc and Ariane have a pretty good vibe going by that campfire...but Ariane can't pry her eye away from Ponta's adorableness and can't resist nuzzling up against that perfect fur. And Ponta knows she's irresistible. Gotta love how Ariane tries to play it off like it never happened when Arc walks in but Arc wants in on that too .

So Yuriarna is stuck between knowing her older brother might be involved in illegal elf slave trading and the possible power play between her brothers for the throne...which she doesn't seem to want any part of versus making peace with the elves, and would rather visit her older sister instead. I'm guessing her attempts at peace talks with the elves will lead her to Arc .

Well, at least it wasn't as super explicit as in the first episode. And again, decent human beings are pretty scarce in this world.

Did they really not escort those two elves to Danka? They weren't with Arc when they teleported outside with the treasure loot. Ariane just told them to go outside and meet up with Danka with no location mentioned. Arc didn't even dispel the choker for them. Plus with all the ruckus the soldiers would have been everywhere in the castle. Though the ninja probably would have run into them and probably helped them if they were the ones who blew up the rest of the castle. Guess with the two elves being around, Arc wouldn't have confided properly to Ariane about his skeleton face but still. It's such a weird thing to do for a rescue mission.

Well this is progress and the next chapter it seems it will be informative.

It was a good explanation about his body and he didn't actually lie about it, and who knows he may find that cure of his "curse" even lol.

In the LN/Manga he teleported out with the two elves that were rescued and he also revealed himself in front of both of them as well, just more, little changes that the anime makes.
