52 episodes huh? That's a little long for me. I might watch a bit of the series, but i can't watch anything over 40 episodes (hell, the only reason i managed to finish FMA was because i forced myself).

tbh these last 30 episodes have shot by. I haven't found any arc to be boring or repetitious. Each arc is a tidy story in its own right.

Even though it is the inheritor of City Hunter the writer has been able to renew life to Ryo and crew without rehashing CH as a remake. So far I've really enjoyed it and even with Miki's introduction as a little girl instead of a sexy commando babe I am not disappointed at all. CH satisfied my childish heart and now AH is doing the same but from a more mature POV.

I don't know how else to describe AH, the worst thing I could possibly say about it would be it is CH is for girls

(aka it concentrates on character development and story line instead of mokori and wham bam action)

Just watched the epi again and i was thinking would Ryo be affected by Miki in the same way as umi-chan and saeko? I think he would not as he heart has been comforted by knowing that Kaori truely lives on within Xiang Ying.

Wow a-kraze are steaming ahead with my two favourites of this season!

Very nice end to the miki arc, but I wonder who put the evidence in Saeko's postbox?

Also I wonder if Ryo took out Umi's eyes as he did is the CH universe?

One thing I did like was the very first few frames I think it looks gorgeous, the below image does it no justice at all.

I'm glad Saeko voiced the exact same concerns as I did about the danger Joy poses for Miki, but I should let Ryo deal with it without worrying

The great thing about seeing the Ryo and Xiang Ying combo is that it seems so well synced, just like Kaori and Ryo, but with someone who actually is competent and deadly as well as with a good heart.

Joy reminding Miki of her mum makes sense too, as the hentai King (yes I jealous of the man) would most prbly fall for the same types of girls.

Seconded. Excellent project finished at last. This show had some star seiyuus, especially in the final part; Megumi Ogata as a one-eyed ex-mercenary friend of Ryo & Kotono Mitsuishi as a boozy psychic were brilliant.

I like what the show did with Miki. Who'd think her seiyuu, Mami Koyama was the same as does Balalaika in Black Lagoon!

Episode #50 is one of my favourite episodes now.

I am at ep 26 now and I have to say "wow what a very good show".
Only ep 24 with all the what happend so far was not so good but the rest was awesome.
This show deserves more attention here on AS.

Wow this was one of the best shows I have ever seen.
It was a bit sad even with those very funny parts but overall a very good show.

just finished watching AH, haha.. im currently searching for oldies but goodies anime thats why i just watch AH recently.. what can i say??

AH is perfect! its one of my favorites!

theres many lessons you can get from watching, and it got a lot of touching and laughing scenes.. that makes it balance and worth watching..

and CH (City hunter) is a pain in the ass the whole season 1-3 sums about 40gb, i need to free up some space and watch city hunter..

oh i want more saeba ryo.. haha.. kaori is such a nice women..

Her actions would most defiantly put Miki in danger. She is wanted by her government because she knows that the King is a body double so has hitmen after her. Now if the Queen finds out that Miki is the King's daughter she is in even more danger. That King sucks, he cast Miki and her mum away and now his actions may put Miki into more danger. __________________

Join Date: Dec 2004	Many thanks to Ani-Kraze for carrying on with this great series Spoiler for thoughts on epi 42: Really light fun episode where Ryo actually gets chased by a very beautiful anchor woman. It starts off with Ryo loosing his woman phone, basically his electronic black book. It is picked up by the anchor woman who returns it to him (and in the process ruins 50 of his relationships ). She can't believe that he could be two timing that many women so believes him to be a male escort Oh how I laughed at that. It gets even more funny when she decides to chase him and get him a job. She even makes up a secret signal which she uses on TV to the amusement of Umi, Miki and Xin Hong, who take the mickey out of Ryo The show ends with Xhiang Ying introducing herself as Ryo's daughter and her into their world. Now I'm not too sure if this is Xhiang Ying being straight forward to her or she is scaring the woman off using tactics that makes Kaori's hammer look foolish..... All in all a very very fun episode, and it really shows how popular Ryo is __________________

Ryo is in trouble me thinks muahhaha. One thing I have noticed is that she hasn't called Fan-san "mama" even though she has been requested to. Me thinks that title is reserved for Kaori sniffle. Another thing is when Ryo declares that he is about to go mokori hunting Xhiang Ying just gave him a look and didn't go overboard Kaori style. I guess that aspect of Kaori is well under control The actions of the Black Panthers are a little over the top, and are not a merc team you want to mess with at all. They don't exclude the leet'ness of Hotel Moscow, but I get the feeling they would put up hella fight. __________________
