Nice episode, cute Ilya.. and darn right cool Archer too~ Spoiler:
For me the conversation about Saber's wish was the best part of the episode, a Saber flashback after her identity has been said would be nice - though i don't think it'll happen. And there's so more to the Rin & Shinji convo'..

Oh mah lordy lord I loved this episode. Mainly thanks to how absolutely ADORABLE Ilya is. Which thanks to this I can actually say her name right, Il-ya not I-lya.
And Shirou's freaking out about Sabers non-chalant nudity was hilarious. Next episode looks like it's gonna give the plot a nice kick in the rear and also have Shirou learning some magic perhaps? This has to be the anime I'm most looking forward too every week. xD; |

Where did you get the previews? just wondering cause there were lots of bogus previews stuff from the gundam thread, and you might want to spoiler tag them

um ....i dont recall ppl spoiling the episodes ahead of time...and MakubeX2 where are your sources from? least give a link please....and this is a ep.10 discussion thread..
edit: put spoiler tags around them!! some ppl dont like spoilers, since they want to watch whats going on in the anime not knowing ahead of time..and this doesnt make sense in the ep.14 summary Shirou's captured by Illya and Saber. Saber and the rest, after planning a resue mission, headed for Castle Einzbern when Illya's not around to rescue Shirou. You mean Shirou's captured by Shirou's captured by Illya and Saber!??!?!!? why in the world would Saber capture her own master, -__-. your post is not supported by references. lol im editing it like is an essay ahahazz |

.V. Goddamnit Orochi, at least put spoiler tags around them.
He's getting them from magazine summaries; japanese anime magazines usually have summaries of the upcoming episodes. I never really did know why they had those. Spoiler for answer to Shikimori Kazuki's question, put in spoiler tags:

The scene with Saber's stomach growling was one of my favourites. I mean, most (almost every) anime characters blush at these situations , but Noo~, our Saber knows no such useless things as embarassement (and the scene with naked Saber proves that ) ! Instead , she puts a happy smile on her face as if saying "Yay, lunch time! Shirou , feed me please <3" . She looked so silly and at the same time so irresistibly cute , that I couldn't help myself but chuckle. And of course , the main highlight of this ep was Iliasfee von ... I mean, Ileeasfiel vun... Iluas fon... Illyasfiel von Einzbern, the almighty loli-master. Overall , a nice episode with some plot development i won't mention ( Damn , I wish at these times I hadn't read the spoilers ) Last edited by Incoan; 2006-03-11 at 19:29. |

One of the better episodes IMO, because we finally got some character development.
I cringed at Shirou's sparing session with Saber. I'm seriously starting to think this guy just has no brains. When they really should be concentrating on thinking up tactics to win the War, things like this are just really a waste of both Shirou and Saber's time and energy. Although I did find it interesting that Saber found a reason from that exercise to respect Shirou even more. Ilya scene was great. I think Ilya's personality is far more complex than just split-personality, and the glimpse we were given into her character in this episode is really tantalizing for what may come of her later down the track. I can't help but suspect that her story will end up being one of the highlights of the series. Naked Saber! Good scene, not just because Saber is hot (but, damn, she still hasn't let her hair down) but also for some subtle character development. I can't help but think that she really wants to stress the difference between Shirou's image of a normal woman and a Servant, and she saw an oppurtunity to do so here. It's something that I think could be a downfall for Shirou unless he changes his perception of Saber. I don't know who I'd trust less: Shinji or Rin. If I were in Shirou's shoes and Rin had just told me about her discussions with Shinji on the possibility of betraying me, and then asking me to eat a strange gem-looking thing, I'd almost certainly cast a suspicious eye in Rin's direction. I found it really odd that Shirou just ate the gem... no questions asked. Realistically, Rin has no reason to want a strong ally... if anything, she'd want Shirou to be as weak as possible so she could do away with him at the end with no unneccesary challenge. Shirou should really recognize this, and be carefully watching his back so Rin doesn't put the knife in. He's just too trusting of her, IMO. And, a final word: OMG MORNING RIN IS HOT! |
